La Maison Eco House-Boutique
Originally a family house, “La Maison” (“The House” in French) has been recently turned into a Green Boutique Guest-house. Adjacent to an amazing palm grove and with a 6-room capacity only, you will find an intimate and tranquil vibe in this house-cocoon. La Maison is located in a hidden and enchanting corner of the best area in Mancora.
A local but the cosmopolite neighborhood, far enough from the city nuisance but only seven minutes walking from the main beach of Máncora (and the surf and kite spot), the yoga studio, and at the same distance from the best place to eat downtown. You will have access to a dining room, living room, terrace, and swimming pool. Price Includes a consistent and nutritional breakfast, daily cleaning services, and Wi-Fi.

This is an Eco-house and they are doing their very best to reduce the carbon footprint, which means a higher cost of operation. By staying at La Maison, you can be proud of traveling eco-friendly.

The mornings on the Peruvian north shore have a quiet beauty. You will get amazing sunrises here without any wind, which provides the perfect opportunity to go for a surf session, or lesson, prepare yourself for the day in a yoga class, or just relax with a good book at the hotel.
Description
The wind starts here around noon and drops around 6 p.m. So there is more than enough time to improve your kitesurf skills. The kitesurf lessons are private and around 2 hours long. The kitesurfing club is 20 minutes away from the village. If you're an experienced kiter, try out the daily kitesurfari. The kitesurfaris start normally around 10:30 a.m. in the morning, just let Wild Kite Peru know the day before if you're interested. After your kite lesson (or kitesurfari) you can shape your sunset and night, as you want. This is your free time from the surf camp and not included in the package price.
- 1h/1h30 Surf lesson per day or surfboard rental every day
Kiteboarding lessons include:
- One of the super pro, rad IKO* certified instructors
- The last generation kitesurfing gear from one of the 3 leaders brands
- Insurance in case the gear is damaged during the kite lessons
- All safety equipment kept to the European standards
- If needed, walkie-talkie radios for communication on the water
- Transfer to Los Organos the neighbor spot, if needed
- And last but not least, your IKO certification

Instructors
Axel Natali
Axel is part of the Cabrinha Kiteboarding Peruvian team, IKO certified kite instructor and your gentle host. After he worked 3 years for the America’s Cup and quite a lot of travelling, Axel arrived in Peru in 2008 and never came back.
Raphael
Met by chance on a small surf spot between Chicama and Pacasmayo, then again in Mancora, Raphael from Quebec decided to spend the 2022 season with Wild Kite, and it is with great pleasure to receive him, and that he is part of the team for the next few months. A carpenter by training, Raphael is also a free surfer and snowboarder and has been kiteboarding on water and snow for 8 years, focusing mainly on wave-riding and strapless. Beyond being gifted in all these disciplines, Rapha is a good guy and humble.
Pepa
After a long day on the waves Pepa will be your best friend. For a calming body refresh and mental preparation for tomorrow´s waves, Pepa's abilities will cure and reboot all.

Location
Wild Kite Peru is based in Máncora. Formerly (and still) a fisherman's village, Máncora also became a sunny halt for international backpackers and surfers. All around Máncora, the Peruvian north shore provide a wide variety of secret and untouched places, virgin surf and kite spots, and a surprising semi-equatorial eco-system when you go inland.

There is a new airport in Mancora: (Punta Sal) operated by Atsa airlines, but only a couple of days per week. Check their flights online. Or arrange your flight to arrive at Talara, Tumbes, or Piura. Mancora is 10 minutes from Capitán FAP Víctor Montes Arias International Airport (TYL), 1 hours and 10 minutes from Talara, 1 hours and 45 minutes away from Tumbes, and 2 and a half hours away from Piura.
