SURF SCHOOL FAMARA SLU

The time with Calima Surf was incredible! I spent one week there and I wish I would have had more time.

The surf instructors were really friendly, motivating and had so many good advices. The guys do an amazing job. The staff at the shop and the house keeping were very helpful as well. All of them made me feel welcome.

The apartment was very clean and nearby. I met wonderful people there and had a really good time. I'm sure I will come back.

It was my first surfing experience, and it was great! I am really glad I've joined Calima Surf school. The apartment was clean and there was everything one needed. What was most important - I did like the surfing instructors! Professional, patient, explaining, helping and prompting! I did manage to learn it (not for the world championship yet but I hope to come again :))! Thanks to all the instructors working with me! Eva, Gia and of course Alberto who gave me the first lessons and always found something positive :)! Guys, your attitude, professionalism and sunny characters made my stay unforgettable! I am so grateful to all of you!!! Thanks to the school for arranging the process and being always in touch! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed so much my time in Famara! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. The beach has only sand and there are waves for all levels. If you wanna see the rest of the island (as the lessons finish at 12ish), you will need a car but you can get one with no trouble in Famara as well. The house has everything you need incl. shower gel and sunscreen and is just a breath away from both the school and the ocean.

All about the surf camp was way above the expected. Learning surf is so funny and interesting to learn, and the house where we stayed was really beautiful! Great people in house that were all so friendly, and we had some great evenings spent in town after all activities during the day.. All in one, it is a very positive vibe everywhere. I highly recommend it, for anyone who wants an active vacation on such an beautiful island! 🏝️😎❤️

- The instructors are very friendly and technical. They look at us all the time and are constantly correcting us, when needed.

- The facilities are clean and very close to everything you need

- Calima is located in a small village with good restaurants

- The wetsuits are new

- The pictures along with the analysis made by the instructors help a lot to understand what we need to correct on our positions

- The exercises in the gym help a lot to improve our performance

Got great and specific advice to improove my surftecnique on en intermediate level, easy for skillbased changes during the week, a lot of diffrent boards to try.

Booked a short course with accommodation at the last minute, and the team were very helpful to fit me in on the dates to suit my flights. When I arrived, the location was absolutely perfect and all of the people I met in the team were really friendly and helpful. The accommodation was simple and kept very clean. The surfing instructors were all really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Conrad in particular was really good and patient - I'm not exactly a natural, but it was great fun and they got me on my feet! Would thoroughly recommend!

Had a brilliant week in Famara with Calima surf school - massively recommend, just do it!

Sergi and Sara in the shop were very welcoming and friendly and the instructors were great and made it all very fun :) Conrad especially was really attentive and excellent at explaining surfing techniques to complete beginners. (Thank you :))

It was a great way to meet people staying in the surf house and in the lessons as there was always different people around - as a solo traveler it's easy to make friends. Some people go for 5 days surfing lessons like I did, some are there just for the day or morning, some stay in the surf house and rent the equipment but don't take the lessons. You can fit easily to what you want. Also if you want a day off you can switch the days easily, they are flexible.

I took the package with 2 yoga lessons included and they were just beautiful. I even went for a third one as it was so helpful for my (aching) body, and Carol the yoga instructor is really lovely and helping you a lot.

The surf house has everything you need and was kept very clean all the time. Really, the cleaner came every day for a few hours and was very thorough.

Loved the istructors.. learnt so many tips so that I could improve really quickly over the 5 lessons. Really liked the fact that they would follow everyone attentively.
