The Kuta Puri
Whilst undertaking the Stoked Surf Bali program you will be staying at the Kuta Puri Hotel in the iconic Poppies Lane 1, right in the heart of Kuta.
Located less than 100 meters from the beach gives you easy access to your surf lessons and for when you want to practice your surfing skills or just chill out at the beach.
The Kuta Puri has beautiful gardens, large spacious rooms, two swimming pools, spa and restaurant.
It is surrounded by shops, restaurants, beach bars and only a few minutes walk to the large Beachwalk shopping center.
Mercure hotel in Nusa Dua
If you book this package between January and March 15, you will be accommodated at Mercure hotel in Nusa Dua where you will have better access to the surf spots where most of the lessons take place during that time of the year.

Location
Stoked Surf Bali is located at Kuta Beach Hotel. Located in the heart of Kuta, Bali’s most famous beach, Kuta Beach Hotel is a paradise for surfers and travelers who are seeking the ultimate sun, sea, and sand. They’re only within a few minute's ride to Ngurah Rai International Airport, 50 meters away from Kuta Beach and surrounded by other popular public areas, from a shopping mall, and art market, to a modern water park.
Between March and November most of the surf lessons will be at the local beach in Kuta whilst during December, January, and February you will often need to travel to the eastern side of Bali (Nusa Dua or Sanur side) to find the best learning conditions. Most of the lessons during these months will be at Serangan (between Sanur and Nusa Dua).

During the Bali wet season (approximately January until Mid March) the usual place on Kuta Beach for learning to surf is often not very pleasant at all due to onshore winds and debris/rubbish being blown onto the beach - for that reason, your hosts don’t like to take lessons on Kuta beach for most of this time.
The east coast of Bali is much better from January to March, that is why in this period they offer accommodation on the East coast of Bali in Nusa Dua or for customers who want to stay at Kuta Puri, there is a transport surcharge of 25 USD per day per person during the specified time to cover the extra costs.
