Surf Star Morocco really exceeded all my expectations: accommodation at the surf house was perfectly clean and relaxing, the home-cooked meals delicious and healthy, the yoga lessons the best I ever had, and most importantly everyone was all about the good vibes, making us all feel welcome and at home.
It was my first time surfing and I really felt looked after by all the instructors, who were always giving us productive feedback and pushing us to improve— the positive results were evident across the board.
Thank you so much to EVERYONE at Surf Star Morroco. You were all so lovely— big, big hug! xx

Had an amazing time at Surf Star Morocco - all of the instructors were incredibly skilled, friendly and helpful. Since coming back, I've been encouraging all of my friends to do.
This was my first surf and yoga retreat with surf star morocco. They are absolutely wonderful and tend to take care of all guests like family. The accommodation is clean, all inclusive of yoga, surfing and great food buffet. I remember on my first day of surfing I got a heat stroke and the whole staff took great care of me by constantly checking up on me and making sure that I received all the required medicines etc. When I realized I didn't want to continue surfing they were understanding and helped switch my package around as well. The yoga instructor is great, I remember at one point we would all try to get to the class early as it was so jam packed since Liz made it so interesting and easy for all yogis at all levels. The kitchen staff cooks the food with love and attention and makes sure that all dietary requirements are met, they are simply superb. I took away one star only for the bumpy internet that only worked in the common area and would get worse when more people would be using it. Apart from that I definitely will go back and highly recommend the place to all surfers and yogis.FYI: Special thanks to Lucie and the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable.
A truly special place! The yoga was great, always on time and for all levels. The food very healthy and caters for everyone. Most of all, the team from the people running the place to those in charge of the surfing and yoga sessions, was the BEST!!!! Will go back anytime!

I had a fantastic time with Surf Star Morocco. The staff was professional while still being friendly and welcoming. I am a beginner at yoga and I have never surfed before, but the instructors were wonderfully patient. Definitely recommend it!
I had a fantastic stay at Surf Star Morocco. Everyone was very helpful and the teachers were great.

I had an amazing time with Surf Star Morocco. The place is stunningly beautiful. Yoga and surf instructors are great and the atmosphere in the house in very friendly. The food is amazing and they went to great lengths to cater for my special diet. They looked after me well and I will return soon!
We had a wonderful time at Surf Star Morocco. It was a brilliant place to holiday for 2 single girls in their 30's and I am sure would be brilliant to do alone as well. The guests and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming providing everything you need including amazing food 3 times a day. The surf instructors were great, fun, and very patient and the yoga complimented it brilliantly, resulting in no aches or pains. The rooms were spacious very clean and comfortable.
Staying at the house was an absolute pleasure. The yoga classes were great, really well planned and of course, the setting totally blew our minds. Surfing wasnt the easiest thing weve done but we really loved getting out on the waves and the instructors couldnt have been better! The house itself is fantastic - we felt at home in the first few minutes and that continued until the end of our trip. The food was lovely, although for the Spanish side of us the breakfast was a little light! We had our car with us so we also managed to go horse riding (galloping along the beach was a dream of ours) and to the crocodile park, which were both fantastic! The banana town and the souk in Agadir are both great too. I would definitely recommend this for a wee break and well definitely be back!

Surf Star Morocco was a very welcome retreat away from life. It is a nice balance of surf and yoga. Everyone there seems to share a very clean lifestyle. The food is amazing, fresh Moroccan fare cooked by local women and men from the village. Twice a day yoga on the patio overlooking the village is very peaceful after a long day on the beach. Every step of the way you are welcome and made to feel at home. The mix of travelers you meet at the house is refreshing as well. Would go back for sure!

We have just arrived home from an absolutely amazing holiday at Surf Star Morocco! We all felt really at home and part of the group. It was such a great value for money and very relaxing not having to think about anything as there is a daily schedule with food and transport included. Surf instructors were fab, we had such a laugh with them all! Barack was an amazing leader, shout out to Bus: dont worry be happy, Khaled of course did not stop smiling and Hassan loved rapping in the van! Everything was made possible by Bobas great photography. It was also fun to explore: we loved the group trip to Paradise Valley and also visited Agadir market and had a fun night out on Friday! The morning and evening yoga classes were great: Bryony really helped us all individually and it was great to see how much we improved throughout the week. We are definitely coming back next year, we miss it already! Thanks to everyone at Surf Star Morocco for an amazing week!! Loads of love Holly, Jessica, Chessie and Kate.
Surf Star Morocco was the best holiday I could have wished for. The retreat was super friendly, incredibly well organised, clean and all run very smoothly by brilliantly helpful accommodating staff. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of retreat, the food was so fresh, healthy, traditional and yummy catering for all, the best in Morocco I'd say! The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The yoga was wonderful, relaxing and I felt strong after the week, the teacher Katrin really talked you through everything so well. The surfing was so so so good, beautiful beaches and the instructors were very patient, enthusiastic and great for all levels! Best quote was from Bahsin our instructor, 'Don't Ever Give Up' he drummed into us every day in surf instruction, and we didn't! Everyone was addicted to surfing if they weren't already ;) by the end of the holiday. Thank you, Surf Star Morocco for being our surfing family for a truly memorable week!

I did have a really nice stay here and it is a very well organized operation with everything running smoothly. If u look at it purely in terms of a surf camp it is outstanding with excellent instruction. I'm not sure that they should be advertising as a yoga retreat and one of the staff admitted that it was a surf camp with a bit of yoga on the side...a bit disappointing if you booked mainly for the yoga.
The first 5 days of yoga was really very boring as the teacher followed the same sequence twice a day. It was also not inclusive of different levels and many guests new to yoga really struggled. Fortunately things improved when the owner Lucie arrived. She is a truly gifted teacher and caters to all levels. If you are thinking of coming for the yoga do check who is running the classes!
Additional comments: food is awesome, they cater for a variety of needs, do bring warm clothes, plan to have a day or 2 off from surfing. I would advise if you are a beginner and coming for 7 days to maybe only pay for 5 days of actual surfing cause you can always change later and it's definitely nice to just have a day of R&R, have a hammam and massage; the surf staff will book it for you and it's amazing!

I had a fabulous holiday. It was very, very special, mainly because of the company you keep there. The yoga was very high quality and it was great to build momentum with the classes. I would not however call this a yoga retreat, it is a surfing holiday! Highly recommend for solo travelers.

My friend Crystal and I had a brilliant time. The people at Surf Star Morocco were amazing and they really looked after us. Thanks so much to the team in the kitchen because every day we had absolutely delicious food. Thanks to Laura and Pip for looking after us every day. They were so helpful and made us enjoy our stay. Lucy was great with the yoga. Every day she mixed it up and pushed us hard, but not too much. It was a great way to start the day and then end the day in the sunshine on the roof terrace. I would also highly recommend the Halam that we had, which is just around the corner from the Surf House. We will both definitely recommend this to our friends and will certainly be returning as we didnt want to leave.
It was just amazing! I can definitely recommend Surf Star Morocco and the whole heart-touching crew that is working there. Nice house, lovely roof top terrace, delicious Berber food and situated close to the beach. They are always up for showing you something more of Morocco than what was offered, so next to wonderful yoga sessions and adventurous surfing, we made an inland trip to a river, where we could bathe and enjoy the nature. We also went to an Argan oil farm and saw a lot of goats on the Argan trees. Agadir Market was an impressive experience as well. I take some warm and joyful memories and a huge smile back into the snow and cold of my home country.

I had a simply wonderful time at Surf Star Morocco. It delivered a terrific introduction to yoga for me (my new passion), and all in a terrific setting. That said, the most important element of it all was the delightful warmth, support and energy of all the staff.Ive been lucky enough to travel extensively over the years but this has been one of my favourite places to visit and I will be returning without question. The food was top drawer and I smiled and laughed for a week.I am missing the yoga already and start local classes tomorrow.

This was my first holiday abroad by myself, and I was really nervous as I am relatively shy. But, I needn't have been! The Surf Star team are exemplary hosts; the surf teachers are absolutely brilliant and had me standing up on the board on my first day! Lucie is a brilliant yoga teacher, and my yoga improved so much during my stay than probably in all the time I have been practicing!I had the best experience. The food was delicious, and the chefs catered for my dietary requirements, which was ace! The rooms are beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I would whole heartedly recommend Surf Star to any seasoned surfer or beginner as well as to fellow yogis. The hospitality industry in general would do good by all their future guests by taking a leaf out of Surf Star's book.
The yoga and surf retreat was wonderful. The team at Surf Star was extremely friendly and welcoming. Prior to our arrival, it was easy to communicate with them and they answered our questions promptly. Once we arrived, everything was organised including pick up at the airport. The surf lessons were tailored to our level and throughout the week, we were brought to different beaches. We both significantly improved throughout the week. The yoga was complimentary and beneficial to the surf. The instructors were wonderful and managed to tailor classes appropriately from beginner (my partner) to advanced (myself) level. The meals provided were very good (better than in some restaurants we ate). All in all, a fantastic holiday and I would definitely recommend it. We will certainly return.

I had a fantastic time at Surf Star. I would definitely return, like so many of the people I met while I was there. The staff were fantastic. It's the best yoga I have ever done with Lucy. The cooks, surf teachers, and everyone else were wonderfully friendly and great at their jobs. My surfing improved daily under their instruction. I loved the relaxed way they taught which allowed you to get the most out of the experience as you wanted. I had a fantastic time and can fault it in no way. Thank you Surf Star for a great, great experience.
Surf Star was fantastic! There is great food and great people. A superb place to stay and have a great holiday. Thanks Surf Star team!

I really enjoyed the staff of Surf Star. They were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The lodging was not what I am accustomed to. Initially, I had booked a shared space so that I would be less isolated as a solo traveler. When I arrived, I found that a shared space meant three people in a small bedroom and a 4 to 1 shower share which was not OK for me. Fortunately, they were able to move me into a private bedroom for most of my stay. The food was good and town was nice. The surf instruction was not conducive to my learning style. It was a high student to teacher ratio and in response to questions about identifying cues for when to paddle or stand up, I was told to "just feel it", which wasn't helpful to me but maybe works for others. For the first half of my stay there was a guest yoga instructor running power yoga classes which are my least favorite so I did not participate, but the second half the usual yoga instructor took lead again and I loved her classes. It was a nice holiday. I enjoyed the people I met and the place was beautiful. I don't think I would go again though.
My stay at Surf Star Morocco was like staying with family. A warm welcome and a memorable hospitality. And the spotlessness of the house says a lot about how this organization is being run; professional and with great care. The surf lessons are great fun. The surf instructors will do anything in their power to make you feel like you get all the attention you need. The most important thing is that it is not about becoming a good surfer, but about having fun. That is the same for the yoga lessons. Lucy, the yoga instructor, is a beautiful person that will make you feel right at ease. Her yoga lessons are really nice and she will coach you trough every pose.I can go on talking about the terrific meals that were cooked every night and the wonderful people I have met. But, you should experience this yourself. I might see you there, because I will definitely go back.
Just perfect, the staff is adorable and really Professional( on time for each activity). The food is marvellous , fresh and generous. The Yoga lessons by Lucie are really great and revigoring. The surf activity is really cool especially for beginners like me, who never thaught of being able to be on a board. The ambiance with everybody at night with the staff with whom you share your diner and evening are really prcious moment of sharing ( card playing , good talking, fire on the beach, shoping in the souk...). Thanks everybody cause I came alone for a week, and never felt lonely.Big kisses from France I will come back. Maud

Wow what an amazing place :) I stayed for four night & enjoyed everything about surfstar. Good quality surf instructors - ideal for a beginner. They spent a lot of time with me to build my confidence. Awesome yoga twice a day on the sweet roof terrace. I also loved the food here- fresh & varied. However, the best thing about surfstar is all the awesome staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming & friendly, there was a really nice community atmosphere where everyone socialised a lot.
My strongest and sincerest recommendation goes to this little gem hidden outside of Agadir. Mainly the kind and original staff is the reason that I am coming back, as you can find a lot of surf camps in the area. But I am quite sure you will never find any people as awesome as the whole Surf Star crew (including kitchen staff, surf instructors, reception staff, and yoga instructors). No doubt, I will make sure to come back to this place!
It's beautiful place with many surfers, but not for someone who join wants to chill on the beach. The city is also very interesting, though not in Moroccan style
I've just returned from my third visit to Surf Star over the last two years. Each time I'm surprised that they can exceed my expectations. There is just such a great atmosphere :-) all the staff (from cleaning ladies, chefs, security to Surf instructors) are super friendly and welcoming, and just makes you relax and feel at home from the beginning to the end. It's clean, the food is great, the location is great, and the surf instructors are good and patient teachers that makes you feel safe and capable. I highly recommend staying here.

Hands down the best holiday I have ever had - even before we had collected our bags at the airport on the way home we were checking flights to go back! The staff at the Surf House are all so welcoming, the surf instructors have endless patience and the whole atmosphere was just wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit!
This place is simply paradise. The surf camp is situated on top of a small hill, 5 mins walking distance far from Tamraght beach. From the surf camp's terrace you have one of the most amazing views I have ever seen, with sea view one side and hills on the other. When arrived I was so impressed about how many people in the surf camp have been to this camp even 5 times!!! Now I know why...the whole surf camp is just awesome, from the owners, to the surf teachers, chefs, food and obviously beaches and waves. Every single person of the staff is very professional, well organised and friendly. The surf equipment is good quality and with a huge range of surf boards and nice good brand wet suits. I was very impressed about how all the surf teachers are always so committed in trying to bring every person to their next step level of surf. In general, all the services offered by this surf camp are great. Finally I wanted to thank the owners Momo and Lucie for having organised the most amazing New Years Eve party I have ever been to. Keep up the good work and see you soon!

Stayed 10 days at surfstar and had an amazing time. The sign on the door says "home is were the heart is", I can tell you this is a place like home. Lovely team that takes you up into their family, amazing surf teachers (with lots of patience ;), great yoga and excellent food. I miss them already. If you are wondering if this is a good idea....stop wondering and go! Best idea I have ever had :-D
Just thought I'd write a quick few lines thanking surf star for a perfect trip. The staff are super friendly and the guide I had (simo) was awesome. You really can't beat local knowledge with an expert surfer. I can't say enough good things as he made sure every day was perfect. The rest of the staff were super friendly and made me feel like family. Surf star is my new home away from home. The food was amazing as well. I feel like I'm writing an ad for the place but go check them out and you'll see what I mean. :)

I had an awesome time with these guys during a 1 week stay in early December. Everything was really well organised, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was great too. My highlight was definitely the trip we did to Imsouane, which was one of my most awesome rides of my life! Quote of the holiday was from Serin (one of their staff) who told me that even if i knew i was gonna wipe out on a wave, to drop in anyway and just go for the 2 seconds of glory! lol! Definitely inted to go back here some time soon!

It's the sort of place you meet people who have been a few times previously. It's obvious why really. Good times. The staff are tops. Been twice myself already. Much love. Be back again most likely.
It is the 4th time i spent a really good time here at Surf Star Morocco. like every year, i just can talk about super nice people who stay there, the absolutely friendly and perfect crew, fantastic surf guiding, delicious food from Brahim and Brahim. If you have been there once, I do not have to tell you about big boss Khalid he is a great person. Even if there was a change in the surf coaches, the "new" one are excellent, like Amin and Simo! so if you want to surf Morocco, just go to Surf Star Morocco! I will be back in 2017!
Surf Star is honestly a home away from home. The moment I walked into the camp I was welcomed by the friendly staff and given a hug and some food they had saved for me.
The entire staff was amazing! The surf instructor who worked with me for most of my stay was Ismail. I had been to a different camp a couple weeks earlier and can honestly say that I learned more from Ismail in 1 hour than I did in 3 days at the previous camp. He encourages and motivates every single person he works with in a fun and exciting way. Every day he works with each individual to improve and progress their skills. Surf Star truly has the best instructors.
The food was absolutely wonderful, the yoga was fantastic and the accommodation was so clean and comfortable. The Thursday night beach bonfire and Friday night out in Agadir was also super fun, thank you to Khalid for planning fun activities and always making sure everyone is having a good time!
I ended up loving Surf Star so much that I extended my stay and I am hoping to come back soon!
Had an awesome week with star surf! It's such a beautiful spot and the staff are incredible!! See you in winter guys!
I think I visited Surf Star 4 times over a couple of years. First time was when the camp just started and already then I liked it very much. The owners are super friendly and staff as well. The food is so good as well. You can take surf lessons with or without yoga or surf guiding. If you do the guiding, the guides take you everywhere you want to go, you get to decide. The accommodation is very nice as well. You can come as a couple or alone and share a room with someone. They are also very good with children so if you want to come with your family this is a very good option!

This place is a gem - the welcome was warm and sincere and we felt at home right away. It is relaxed, friendly and inclusive. The yoga was outstanding with Lucie and Fe and such a special experience to practice on the roof top terrace morning and evening. Surf guides are fab and they are happy to accommodate all levels of experience - I had none while other were far more experienced. Great food great atmosphere great staff just a great holiday all together. It really does exactly what it says it does. Would highly recommend for keen surfers and those keen to learn or improve and definitely recommend the yoga.
Had a fantastic time with West Surf Morocco!! The guys are so friendly, helpful and funny plus the surf groups are not too big so it's really personal instruction. The instructors are encouraging and can tell you exactly what to do to improve. Really enjoyed improving my surfing with you and had a great laugh at the same time - thank you!!!

I took my 2 teenagers for a week of surfing; we were all beginners. The instructors got us going in no time (teens obviously getting it better than mum!) - they were patient beyond necessity and always happy and smiling. The same goes for the drivers (who took us to different surf spots daily) and cooking & cleaning staff back at our accommodation. Also I mustn't forget Rasheed the photographer patiently photographing everyone all day every day - and capturing some great shots. The accommodation was comfy and clean rather than 5 star deluxe BUT the whole experience was definitely 5 star. The yoga was also wonderful - 2 lovely teachers led us through some really great sessions - so do go even if you don't want to surf and yoga is your thing, as there are 2 sessions a day. Having been lucky to experience plenty of yoga I can honestly say they were just great. The food was great too and we really, really had a fantastic week. We hope to return. Many thanks too all at Surfstar.
Recommend so highly! Great experience. Fantastic place, people, yoga, surfing, weather, food! Hope to go back soon!

Just back from a weeks break here; me 50+ male and my 17 y o daughter. I had never surfed previously, daughter had limited experience. By the end of the week I had caught a few green waves and daughter was using a hardboard 'out back'. This is testament to the excellent coaching we got and encapsulates everything about Surf Star i.e. even better than expected. From when we first arrived we were made to feel very welcome - and maybe we got lucky with the guest mix when we were there but I suspect not - and throughout the week there was a lovely informal vibe with a real sense of community. There are people I met that I will be staying in touch with and who I hope will turn up on the doorstep some day. But 'informal' doesn't mean slack! Surf Star is really well run with a nice structure to the day: yoga (optional), breakfast, surf, lunch, surf/laze, free time, more (still optional) yoga, dinner, picture feedback of the days surfing. All of this happens in a friendly, positive, relaxed, organized, reliable way. The surf coaching is excellent; I am a level 2 paddle sport coach in the UK and all of the Surf Star guys delivered 'safe, enjoyable, learning' of the highest order. You can see that safety is taken seriously in everything from their driving to/from the beaches to their coaching but it is done in a nice low key way and the coaching emphasis is on people enjoying themselves by/whilst developing their surf skills. Feedback was always given in a positive way that helped improve performance and the picture feedback after dinner was fun and helpful. There is a more than adequate range of kit with boards of all shapes and sizes and abundant wet suits, dry bags etc. The yoga classes - another first for me - were also really, really good. The wonderful setting helps - on a terrace with the sun rising - but the teaching was superb and again full of positivity and completely free from pressure whilst allowing and encouraging progression; I will miss them a lot; classes in a UK gym hall just wont be the same. And then there is the food! Suffice to say that the accolades others have written about it on here are true. Great variety, quality and quantities of simple, wholesome, delicious food along with a commendable willingness to accommodate special requests. The only thing that surpassed the food was the smells of it being prepared in the open kitchen - if I go back I will ask if I can skip surfing one day and have a cookery lesson instead! The rooms are simple, beds comfortable and everywhere is 100% spotless, 100% of the time - no mean feat considering the place is full of sandy surfers. Likewise bathrooms were always spotless, water pressure was good and there was always plenty of hot water not that it was needed at this time of year. I would like to think that I will go back - I certainly wont go surfing anywhere else - and I am sure that my daughter will return. When she does I will be very comfortable about it. Not all Moroccan surf schools are the same and some are clearly more 'party' orientated than others - nothing wrong with that - but it isn't what Surf Star is about; and isn't what I want for my daughter :-)

Our stay at Surf Star Morocco was fantastic from start to finish. From spending the day at the beach either chilling out or catching waves (and getting better at it quickly!), to relaxing on the roof terrace at night with all the fantastic people you meet during your stay, there wasn't a minute that we wanted to be anywhere else. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable, with lounge areas, kitchenettes and toilets, but it is irrelevant in any case, because you'll find yourself not wanting to spend a second longer than you have to away from the excellent yoga classes, beach trips, delicious meals and great company that will fill your week. You'll be constantly busy and yet never tired - life has never felt so rewarding and relaxing at the same time. The people working there are always on hand to help out with whatever you need but are more like friends than staff. Spending time writing long reviews on trip advisor is just another attempt to relive the entire holiday and we won't waste a second trying to find the time to return. The best holiday we've been on.

Surf Star was, to say the least, an impulsive booking without much planning or idea of what to expect. As soon as i arrived i knew this was a special place. Not a holiday destination catering to tourists but a brilliant family run business, once you arrive you're part of the family. The surfing and Yoga package was brilliantly run and every session brought a new joy/skill, whilst nurturing the soul and the mind!If you are looking to spend some money don't go anywhere else, this place and the people are wonderful.Around 15 of us are preparing to return and reunite amongst the waves :)!Lots of love to the surf star family.

Surf Star runs a really welcoming and friendly surf house about 45 mins from Agadir. I can see why people are drawn back again and again. You can expect basic but comfortable rooms and shared bathrooms; lovingly cooked dinners, packed lunch for the beach, self serve breakfasts. The kitchen staff are very helpful with special diets - I am Vegan and they responded to specific requests very positively = I've even come back with a new recipe! The surf instructor who taught us beginners was very patient and encouraging resulting in an enjoyable first experience of surfing. The Yoga classes were very much in tune with the needs of a surfer, concentrating on the muscle groups involved in riding the waves. Transport to local surf spots, wetsuits and boards all provided in our package. Local beach 10-15 mins walk away, massage and Hammam (traditional Moroccan scrub treatment) place 5-10mins walk away. Lovely chilled vibe, helpful and friendly staff who made us feel part of the Surf Star 'family' and tried their utmost to make our stay awesome :-) ""Just spent two wonderful weeks at Surf Star Morocco! Lucie, Momo and their team are doing a wonderful job in Tamraght. The place is clean and comfortable, Brahim's food beats the finest restaurants in the area, the surf instructors make sure you get to the best breaks every day and, Yoga at sunrise and sunset with Lucie is a magical experience. I would definitely recommend Surf Star Morocco to anyone looking for a Morrocan surf adventure! Thanks guys, you're the best! I'll be back!""I spent a wonderful week at Surf Star at the beginning of the year and will never forget itAccommodation is inviting and comfortable, the food is wonderful, the yoga and surf instruction exceptional but best of all are the staff - every single one of them make you feel right at home and do their job so well- whether that's cooking, teaching you yoga and surfing or just helping you out with anything you would like to do/ see during your stay!I will be back :) ""I really didn't know quite what to expect from the 5 night surf yoga experience but from the minute I was picked up by the smiling Mohammed at the airport to the wonderful wave off 5 days later, every moment in between I felt completely at home, cared for, cooked for, taught how to catch perfect waves (the surf instructors are amazing), recommended amazing massages just two min walk from the house , invited to wonderful yoga classes (Lucie is the best yoga teacher I've come across in years!) and entertained by every other guest and family member (no one ever seemed like staff). I simply loved every minute and I'm already checking the calendar for when I can next escape London without being missed too much.I'm a mum of one and wanted some time out and this was just the perfect solo holiday. This is a good team to learn to surf. The instructors are patient, enjoy people, are excited to see you learn to surf, and are surfers themselves. They also seem to know what experience you are looking for and try to read the group as best they can to anticipate your needs. The transportation was timely and the board selection was decent for the learning curves. Wet suits are available and someone will watch your items as you surf. The team will check the surf reports and choose a location from a range of drivable options. When you leave you will not feel like you hired instructors but made friends.

An excellent holiday - everything taken care of, picked up at airport, wonderful meals, massages and trips arranged for us. The staff are all very friendly and the surf instructors in particular are incredibly patient. We went on a yoga package; a great start to the day is yoga on the rooftop terrace. Taken to the beach each day and lunch brought down, then taken back to the house to relax before dinner. The accommodation is fairly basic - our room was just a bed and wardrobe - no TV, and there is a shared bathroom and kitchen. But it was all very clean, and we spent more time on the rooftop terrace than in our room.Such a lovely holiday - the perfect balance of activity and relaxation.""After endless visits to Morocco, my times with Surf Star definitely stand out from the rest, and my recent holiday was no exception. Whether you're travelling solo or with a bunch of mates, the team go that extra mile to make your holiday unforgettable. Lucie and co. will help in any way they can, whether its booking airport transfers or making sure you get a veggie meal at dinner! The Surf Star crew always have plenty of tricks up their sleeves to keep us happy: visits to the souks, traditional tagine meals, hamam massages, surf films, yoga, and of course... surf! This was my 4th visit to Surf Star, and every time I go back it feels like home. Everyone is so welcoming, and it doesn't take long before you feel part of the family - even the locals are always happy to see me back. I've been to a few surf camps in Morocco, but none of them come close to Surf Star. The team here are very passionate about surf and yoga, aswell as the beautiful country of Morocco, and love sharing this passion with eveyone. Every holiday Ive spent there has been amazing ; my surfing has improved so much, all thanks to their patience and advice, and Ive always left feeling healthy, energized and stoked and have usually booked my next trip before the holiday is over!.

During a recent trip with my wife to Morocco I had the pleasure of having MoMo and Lucie from SurfStar Morocco as my surf guide. We scored 2 amazing sessions including my best wave in Europe, visited numerous surf breaks where MoMo showed me entry points, discussed which tides and swells were the best and helped me to understand where to focus my efforts for the remainder of the trip. We enjoyed a traditional Tanjin lunch in a local town and Lucie snapped a couple hundred pictures allowing me to share my first trip to Africa with all my surf mates and family. For any surf ability, from beginner to expert, I would highly recommend utilizing SurfStar Morocco. They have a great team, are dependable and go out of the their way to make their clients feel like family. Also, if you are lucky enough to sip some of MoMos incredible spiced coffee it will be icing on the cake..
