This surf camp includes accommodation at Surf Lisbon - The House. It features three floors with high ceilings, large windows offering a great ocean view, and spacious white rooms that can be shared or private (available in single, double, and twin configurations).
It also features a large garden where you can store your boards, wash and dry your wetsuit, relax, and take a nap in the shade, or barbecue with friends and other guests.
The oceanfront Surf House
The house can accommodate up to 18 people in four splendid private rooms and two shared rooms, all sharing three comfortable bathrooms. With its high ceilings and thick walls, this Surf House is very cool during summer and has air conditioning in the attic room.
It also has a fireplace and central heating for the cold winter days after another epic surf session at the nearby beaches.
Stay at an oceanfront beach house with all the facilities that you can imagine. The experienced team will take you to the best surf breaks around Lisbon (during winter, you may just have to, literally, cross the road). In addition to all of this, you will be able to discover Lisbon, a cosmopolitan city with fantastic architecture, a unique cultural history, great restaurants, and amazing nightlife.

It also has a beautiful view of the ocean. With a perfect combination of modern and vintage decoration, this room can make your dreams come true.
"North Shore" room
The “North Shore” is a white room on the ground floor of Surf Lisbon - The House, with two single beds that can be separated to make a twin room or together to make a double room. The window is facing the front garden of the house, giving a green color to this comfortable room. It also has a partial view of the ocean with the Bugio lighthouse in the middle of the sea.
"Morning of the Earth" room
This room has a comfortable double bed, a partial ocean view, and a nice garden right in front. It is suitable for a couple who wants to surf all day and relax in a calm and private environment to be ready for the next beach day.
Shared room - Attic room (Ocean and garden view)
The Attic room is the room that will take you back in time and go back to your childhood / adolescence, where you forget your worries and just think about the waves you surfed during the day and Lisbon's lifestyle. Located in the attic, it is a room with five single beds and space for all the storage of the guests who choose to stay with them. It also has a stunning ocean view!

Instructors
Nuno Sequeira
Nuno started more seriously on bodyboarding since he was 15, in which he became Vice Champion of the University National Championship in 1998 along with having a degree in European Studies. Despite changing his bodyboard for a surfboard on a few occasions, the final change came only in 1999. At the same time, Nuno returned to the university and to the area that always fascinated him, sports. Today, he is one of the few academically skilled professionals in surfing: graduated in Sports Sciences with specialization in Surfing by the Faculty of Human Movement.
Bruno Matos
Bruno was born in Lisbon, in the year of 1984, but moved to Caparica at early age where he lived all his life until now. He started with boogie boarding at 7 years old and started surfing at 17 which makes already 13 years standing tall on a surfboard. Bruno is completely passionate about sports and activities connected to the ocean. His hobbies, besides surfing when he's not teaching, are diving, skateboarding, and spearfishing. He also travels, searching for new places to go surfing. He went surfing in Brazil, South Africa, Cape Verde, France, Spain, Indonesia, and Azores.
Location
During the surf camp, you will be staying at Surf Lisbon - Surf House, located in the charming beach town of Caxias. Within a short walking distance, you will have access to local restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, pharmacies, ATMs, grocery stores, etc. If you want to bring your skateboard, the area also has an amazing skate park close to the Surf House.
The train station is only a four-minute walk away, and from there, you can get to the center of Lisbon in a 15-minute ride.
The city of Lisbon
The city of Lisbon, Portugal, is the perfect destination for a complete and intense journey. You will have the chance to enjoy and relax on the sandy beaches, practice water sports, and discover astonishing, protected landscapes. It is the only European capital with golden beaches and waves for surfing, only 10 minutes away from the city center.
The capital of Portugal, Lisbon, is a historical city illuminated by the sun almost all year round.
Cascais
Cascais is a natural playground for adults and children of all ages. This fishing village is charming. It has a small marina, some great hotels, shops, and white sandy beaches and coves. The coast road from Cascais to Guincho Beach is about five kilometers long. It has some of the best fish restaurants in Portugal.
The town of Estoril is a five-minute drive from Cascais and has a huge casino if you are feeling lucky! Close by is the most western point of Europe, Cabo da Roca, with a rugged coastline and spectacular sea views.
Caxias
This is the proud local village! Located only 10 minutes away from Lisbon city center and 15 minutes from Cascais, it's a village guarded by two ancient fortresses, with a seafront, two white sandy beaches, and calm waters (surfing is possible in the wintertime).
Today, it prevails as a cultural and landscape complex that grew over the property of the royal family in Oeiras.
Emanating the sophisticated social life of the 18th century, Quinta Real de Caxias is about 200 meters from the beach and Caxias train station. The lush vegetation characterizes this privileged urban environment. Caxias Station itself is surrounded by one of the gardens and faces the ocean and the beach.
The city of surf: Costa da Caparica
Costa da Caparica has a stunning 26-kilometer coastline of glorious sandy beaches. With powerful Atlantic waves and beautiful natural scenery. It extends along the western side of the Setubal Peninsula but is right in front of Lisbon city center. Only the Tejo River separates the cities.
Much of the southern Costa da Caparica coastline lies within the “Arriba Fóssil.” This nature reserve has protected the fossil-rich cliffs coastline from any major development.
The coastline faces the might of the Atlantic Ocean, and onto the wide, sandy beaches the powerful waves break, making it ideal for surfing and kitesurfing. From these beaches, fishermen employ traditional Xávega fishing techniques (by hauling the nets onto the beach) and with catches laden with sardines and lots of other fish species.
This surf camp takes place in Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon is the only European capital with golden beaches. It has an excellent climate and perfect waves for every surfing level all year round. The surf lessons will take place between the Lisbon / Cascais sea line and the Costa da Caparica.
