Nuno Sequeira
Nuno started more seriously on bodyboarding since he was 15, in which he became Vice Champion of the University National Championship in 1998 along with having a degree in European Studies. Despite changing his bodyboard for a surfboard on a few occasions, the final change came only in 1999. At the same time, Nuno returned to the university and to the area that always fascinated him, sports. Today, he is one of the few academically skilled professionals in surfing: graduated in Sports Sciences with specialization in Surfing by the Faculty of Human Movement.
Bruno Matos
Bruno was born in Lisbon, in the year of 1984, but moved to Caparica at early age where he lived all his life until now. He started with boogie boarding at 7 years old and started surfing at 17 which makes already 13 years standing tall on a surfboard. Bruno is completely passionate about sports and activities connected to the ocean. His hobbies, besides surfing when he's not teaching, are diving, skateboarding, and spearfishing. He also travels, searching for new places to go surfing. He went surfing in Brazil, South Africa, Cape Verde, France, Spain, Indonesia, and Azores.

"Mega! Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen! "
Es war wirklich mega geil. Das Haus war sauber, die Reinigungskraft war jeden Vormittag am rumflitzen und sauber machen (nach dem sie auch Frühstück für uns vorbereitet hat, das auch sehr lecker war). Es gab mehrere Sitzecken mit Sofas, wo man sich versammeln konnte. Alles sehr gemütlich. Das Personal super lieb, hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auch immer mal wieder verquatscht. In der Nahe vom Haus, am Strand entlang, war ein toller weg zum Spazieren/Joggen/ was man so will und sogar kleiner Strand.
Der Surfunterricht war auch super. Die Lehrer waren auch richtig nett und super lustig. Sie waren mit uns im Wasser und haben uns auch immer wieder geholfen die Wellen zu erwischen, haben uns Tips gegeben. So hat man gleich mehr Spaß und Bock es weiter zu machen. Das war sicherlich nicht mein letztes Mal surfen (ich bin ein Anfänger).
Bei mir hat das Wetter nicht ganz mitgemacht und musste paar Kurse ausfallen lassen. Die sind so flexibel und machen echt alles Mögliche, um die dann zu verschieben. Ich darf jetzt noch eine Woche später welche nachholen. Richtig geil.
Ich kann es nur empfehlen ☺️!

This trip with Surf Lisbon surf&house met all my expectations. The stuffs are friendly and so helpful, everything works perfect 👍. Mostly I enjoyed so much in the ocean learning this challenging sport, all the instructors are so great, very experienced and give you guidance in the water👍. "Amazing and resourcing stay"
I was blown away by the kindness and generosity of the people who welcomed us and accompanied us in our yoga and surfing learning journey. All instructors, and people working at the Surf House were amazingly caring and nice. We had a great stay really and would definitely recommend! I felt so reenergised and resourced mentally and physically.
the house was very cute and comfortable, well decorated and cosy. Breakfast is great, only you have to be very much on time if you want anything to be left :)

"Perfect surfcamp for solotravelers, friends or couples "
The hostel was amazing! It was very cute with a blue and white theme and the people working there were super friendly and helpfull. I met a lot of new people from all over the world. We could cook together in the common kitchen, talk in the garden and we even went out one night with a group of seven people who I just met there!
The surf instructors were awesome: They were friendly, helpfull and super funny! I learned to surf in just 3 days and catched waves on my one the last day!

"Here you will find the surfer in you"
The atmosphere of the surf house is so sweet and relaxing and welcoming. Very organized, punctual and flexibel. Very polite anf motivated staff and great teachers. We were up on the board on our very first wave. In 20 min you easily acces the city center.

"Das hat meine Erwartungen völlig übertroffen! "
Die letzten 5 Tage waren eine super Erfahrung und meine Erwartungen bei Surflisbon wurden völlig übertroffen.
Nuno hat mich sehr herzlich empfangen und ich fühlte mich direkt willkommen. Das Haus ist super cute und schön eingerichtet und es fehlt einem an nichts - die Toiletten sind sauber und es ist an jeder ein extra Trichter zum Desinfizieren. Es war auch Duschgel und Shampoo vorhanden. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Die Kaffeemaschine mit den frischen Bohnen ist ein ganz großes Plus! Draußen im kleinen Garten konnte man schön seinen Café in der Sonne genießen oder Yoga machen. Das Ordnungssystem in der Küche war super, jeder hatte seinen Bereich beschriftet.
Wir sind morgens ab 9 Uhr abgeholt worden und sind zu einem Strandabschnitt, der etwa 45 Minuten Fahrtweg in etwa war, gefahren. Alle Surflehrer die ich kennen gelernt hatte waren immer gut drauf und haben mir sehr gute Tipps beim Surfen gegeben. Das hat mich richtig gepusht und war sehr motivierend :) Das ganze Equipment wurde gestellt und die Surflehrer konnten sehr gut einschätzen, welches Surfboard für wen das richtige war. Es gab pro Tag 2 Sessions jeweils á 2 Stunden. Dazwischen gab es 2-3 Stunden Lunch Pause. Am Ende meiner letzten Session habe ich bereits große Fortschritte gemerkt. Die Gruppe hatte einen top Vibe! Es hat total viel Spaß gemacht.
Ich kann Surflisbon wärmsten empfehlen und werde bestimmt nochmal hier hin kommen! Danke für alles. Ihr seid toll!

I like the fact I could arrange airport transfers and I met nice people. Also I really enjoyed the surfing even if I got smashed by waves. There was only one minus about location because the shops where a bit far and not to many souvenir shops around.
I like the fact that I could visit Lisbon even if there was problem with trains because of protests.

The surf house and school was amazing! The people were so friendly and open, and the instructors couldn’t be better! Lisbon surf house & school have an instructor for everyone. If you like to be pushed to your limits and learn as fast as possible, Bruno is your guy. Diogo is super supportive and great at seeing the students as individuals and giving them individual advices.

"Perfect, I'll come back"
The whole staff at the surf camp was so lovely and welcoming. The instructors were super funny and amazing teachers, I learned surfing in no time. Regarding the accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised: it was tidy, well equipped and the staff working there was super helpful and made me feel home instantly. "Fun vibe! Great instructors!"
I had a so much fun! I feel like I learned a lot in the few days I was there :)
All the instructors are very good at teaching and they provide a fun, welcoming, and chill environment for you to learn and enjoy!
They also teach you about safety and adapt the class to meet your skill level, which made me feel comfortable and confident the whole time.
I was there as a solo traveler but the surf house's welcoming environment made be feel like I was not traveling solo!
