You will be accommodated at Surf Inn Hermosa in a shared double or private single room studio occupancy basis. Studios are located a few hundred feet from Playa Hermosa Beach - which is a great spot to sit and watch your friends or family catching waves. Surf Inn Hermosa is located in the heart of Playa Hermosa one of the most consistent surf breaks in Costa Rica. All units are equipped with modern furniture, kitchens, air conditioner, hot water, cable television, and internet connection. Only 10 minutes from Jaco Beach, one of the most visited beaches in Costa Rica.
Program
This is a body-loving holiday that includes building your strength with CrossFit, body toning, and surf sessions. CrossFit classes are held at the local box in Jaco Beach - Surfing is available for all levels, old or young! Daily surf lessons guarantee students will become quickly acclimated with essential surfing skills.
Your instructors are experienced surfers and will inform you with joy about safety, channels and currents, lots of personal tips to help you ride a wave, and techniques to improve your surfing. Each session starts with a surf check of the waves and conditions that day. The basics of how to control the board in the lineup, the pop-up, paddling techniques, and basic surfing etiquette will all be reviewed; and then it is into the water you go!

Alejandro Monge is a Costa Rican surf instructor, entrepreneur, and owner of PIKO Surf Shop, recognized for his extensive experience in surfing and adventure tourism in Costa Rica. Based in Playa Hermosa and Jacó, he has spent years guiding surfers from around the world through surf camps, lessons, and authentic local experiences along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
