You will be staying at Brighton Hotel or at a local bed and breakfast venue depending on the availability of the hotel.. Brighton Hotel offers freshly renovated accommodation for the budget minded. It has free parking on site and location is five minutes to Sandgate Train Station and Bus Services, five minutes to Bruce Highway, 10 minutes to the Boondall Entertainment Center, 15 minutes to airport and 20 minutes to Brisbane.

What’s stand up paddleboarding (SUP)?
SUP is short for stand up paddleboarding. All you have to do is stand on a large surfboard and propel yourself forward with a paddle. But, unlike traditional surfing, you don't have to wait for the waves. In fact, a paddleboard, which is wildly popular, can be used on lakes, rivers, pools or any sufficiently large body of water.
Not only it is easy to learn, most people can get straight up and standing within minutes. It is also a great workout on your core muscles. Best sessions are early morning and you may even see dolphins, stingrays, and even dugongs have been spotted here at Sandgate.
Groups
During your stay, you will receive one-on-one lessons rather than group lessons. Surf Connect Watersports Centre is allowed to take up to 20 people per group, related or not. Plus they have over 20 staff so the team can run 20 private groups at the same time if required.
- Alternative activities will be offered if the weather does not allow your chosen activity to take place. If the weather does not suit the chosen activity, you can choose any other listed activities including sight-seeing tours (subject to availability and weather conditions) for the same duration of time (4 hours per day including travel time).
