Queensland isn't called the Gold Coast for nothing. Avid surfers would attest to the fact that this destination has some of the most epic breaks you will ever encounter. And surfing in Queensland will be exactly that: epic. Conditions around here suit all levels, so you need not worry if you are a beginner. We recommend Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay, and Currumbin. Burleigh Heads and Duranbah Beach aren't too shabby either. But whatever your choice is, you can expect your Queensland surfing camp to be one of the greatest!
Surfing feels good. There’s no denying that. Time slows down when you’re riding a wave, you don’t really think about anything and the rest of the world just vanishes. You are in awe. You are in the flow. But what does that mean, and how does that translate into your brain activity?
A world of extremes, where noisy cities meet authentic street markets and luxury seaside resorts are intertwined with deserted beaches, Thailand is a popular travel destination for many reasons but, unfortunately, surfing is not yet one of them.
If you go beyond the misconception that surfing is just another sport, you will find that reading and riding waves have very much in common. There are tales, autobiographies, documented history, and classic novels crafted around the art of catching waves and the surf lifestyle.
Just picture yourself standing in the lineup, waiting for the next set of waves, when a few furry surfers come rushing in to share the break, some riding by themselves, some together with their owners. Don’t be so quick to judge; these cute animals sure can shred!
