Hikkaduwa is the main surf destination and attracts surfers from Australia, UK, Japan, USA, and many more countries. The size of the waves range from two to seven feet during the season time. The main point is called "main reef" which has an "A" frame shaped wave which surfers can ride both the right hander and a left hander. One of the main reasons for Hikkaduwa's popularity is due to the selection of budget and luxury accommodation.
