Accommodation
During this surf camp, you will stay at a 4-star Hotel Playa Park Zensation. Playa Park Zensation is a 5-minute walk from the RedShark facilities. The hotel has been recently renovated and has all the amenities such as several swimming pools, a variety of bars and restaurants, and different options for rooms or suites and a Spa/gym.
Program
Red Shark Fuerteventura offers semi-private surfing lessons with small groups as well as fun, safe and efficient surf training in perfect conditions. If you are tired of too many surf students with no personal attention in the water, and already know how to catch foam, then this course is perfect for you!
Lessons are organized daily checking forecasts and tides time, looking for the best conditions every day. A WhatsApp will be sent to every participant during the evening to advise the time of the next lesson
Each lesson will be 3 hours, not including the transport to the spot. So take into account that probably you will be out around 4 hours.
Red Shark Beginner Surfing Couse: From Zero To Hero
If you are a beginner with no surfing experience, then this course is perfect for you. During your beginner surf course, you will learn in a semi-private environment the basics of surfing in a fun and effective way. They will choose the perfect beach with small waves and a sandy bottom environment to assure that you are learning in the safest environment.
What you will learn during your beginner surf deluxe lessons
- Understand the theory of surfing and surfing rules
- Learn taking foam waves without help
- Getting up on your feet (take off) and surfing the wave to the beach
- Correct paddle techniques and body posture
- Surf the wave sideways in both directions (turns, front side, back side)
Red Shark Intermediate and Advanced Surfing Course: Improve Your Surfing Skill
Have you done a previous surf course? Do you already know how to catch foam waves and you are now ready for real waves? Do you want to boost your surfing skills and level? Then this course is perfect for you!
During the intermediate and advanced surf deluxe course, you will learn how to catch larger more powerful waves on rocky point breaks.
What you will learn during your intermediate and advanced surf deluxe lessons
- Learn how to surf green waves, rock bottom beaches and understand their currents
- Riding and controlling smaller boards
- Improve your paddling technique
- Reading the waves, timings, and positioning
- Generating speed and using the wave’s power zone
- Bottom turn and cutback
Note: in case surf lessons can't be held due to weather conditions, Red Shark Fuerteventura offers a store credit to be used with them.

Location
Fuerteventura is known as the Hawaii of Europe when it comes to surfing. Fuerteventura’s weather conditions are amazing every season of the year, offering an excellent environment for water sports. The best spots for surfing are in the north of the island, while there are many other alternative surfing sites that may be ideal depending on the day's weather conditions.
