Program
This trip is for anyone, even if you have never touched a surfboard. Pata Sudaka teaches beginners from zero to learn how to surf and also helps intermediate and advanced surfers to progress in technique and style. However, you must know how to swim. They choose the surf spots base on the surf level of the group and also they pick dates on less rainy seasons to have better weather and wave conditions. The average waves you surf in your classes are between one to four feet and up depending on your level.
Hawaiian waves are in the two to 60 feet range but with the variety of waves at every possible angle is almost impossible to miss out on fun-size waves. The Hawaiian Islands are more exposed to extreme weather, but they always try to look for areas with good conditions. Anyways, they always try to follow the schedule but they all decide the activity of the day depending on the weather. In the extreme case, the weather makes it impossible to finish your surf training, they will schedule your surf lessons to another date even if is out of your surf trip program.
You will have your personal instructor which will choose depending on your level where to surf. Normally it is the same spot for levels one and two but for level three, for sure will be another surf spot. Your coaches will never stop paddling for you to reach success, you will also get all the support you need to improve with yoga, slacklining, hiking, eating healthy, all the activities in our trips complement each other. You will always have a surfboard ready to go take on waves.

Instructors
Daniel Luque
Daniel is an Ecuadorian who had been living in Oahu, Hawaii. He has 25 years of surf experience and around 6 years in tour guide business experience. Right now, he is living in Switzerland, Ecuador, and Hawaii.
Location
The camp will take place in Haleiwa, Hawaii, USA. In Hawaii, the home break will be Haleiwa’s Puaena point. However, Pata Sudaka will travel around looking for the best surf conditions. Hawaii is for sure the best place for surfing on earth and besides does a great job holding the Triple Crown of Surfing in Haleiwa, Sunset and Pipeline. Oahu is known as the gathering place, and the island is the third-largest island of the Hawaiian chain. You will learn to ride waves at the very place where surfing was born.
Surfing is just a way of life in Oahu. There are over 100 named surf spots surrounding the island. The island waters are crystal clear, it is perfect for snorkeling sessions all year round. Oahu is surrounded by beautiful and natural places. They try to be close to chill spots where you can enjoy and feel more relax. On the other hand, the best place to go out at night is Waikiki, 45 minutes far from where you stay, but it is worth a good night out.
The surf on Oahu can go from two feet to eight feet in the south and from two feet to 60 feet at North Shore. Pata Sudaka will take you to spots where you can surf beginner-friendly but fun waves, with the option for the more advanced surfer to paddle out to bigger surf at the back. Pata Sudaka will take you to explore all these exciting and diverse places on the island.
- The south shore of the island is the most touristy side but if you know where to go you can find great places like Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head
- The north shore is famous for the good waves and the epic snorkeling
- The east side is the greenest side with a great Hawaiian spirit filled with legends
- The west side of Oahu is the driest but has the most beautiful beaches
