You will stay at the Papaya Lodge Surf Hostel, one of the first and the best hostel in El Tunco. All the rooms are very clean and the service is high quality. The hostel has a private pool and a hammock deck where you can relax and read a book. It also has a restaurant and next to the hostel you will find their surf shop in case you need wax, sunblock or any other accessory.
Program
On the first day, Maya Surf Tours will pick you up at the airport, then take you to your hostel. On the second and third day you will start the surf lessons: these days, Maya Surf Tours will show you the equipment, learn about the waves and surf etiquette. On the fourth day, they will focus on the paddling technique and how to get into the surf.
You will learn the pop up on the fifth day and you will start catching white water and green waves also. On the sixth day, Maya Surf Tours will polish the technique and review all the lessons. During the five days, you will have fun and take your surfing to the next level. The two sightseeing tours will be during the week to relax and have more fun.
