Lisbon Surf Villa is located in the beautiful Costa da Caparica, Portugal. The neighborhood is peaceful, welcoming, and with a couple of nice restaurants just around the corner. The city center of Lisbon is a short 20 minutes' drive away. Lisbon and Caparica are alluring. Coastal Portugal receives much exposure for its breathtaking cliffs, golden beaches, scalloped bays, and sandy islands. But the letter 's' (for sun, surf, and sand) is only one letter in the Portuguese alphabet: activities, beach bars (and discos), castles (both sandy and real), diving, entertainment, fun, etc.
Costa da Caparica
Just a few minutes from Lisbon are the 15 kilometers of beaches at Costa da Caparica. It’s very easy to get there by car, crossing the bridge or catching one of the buses from Praça de Espanha or Campo Grande. When you get here, the best thing is probably to jump on the mini-train that stops at all the beaches from the center going south, which vary in mood and crowd. The beaches in the center are the busiest while those further away are popular with those who want to spend the whole day on the sand or sun loungers. Going north, you’ll find the calmer São João beach. All the beaches share the fact of having excellent bars and restaurants where you can order a jar of sangria, grilled fish, and a plate of clams. See if the beach doesn’t taste better that way.

Discover Lisbon, a city full of authenticity where old customs and ancient history intermix with cultural entertainment and hi-tech innovation. Lisbon is ageless, but it loves company as you’ll find out if you meet someone and ask them to explain with lots of gestures and repetition, where the best place is to listen to Fado.
