You will be staying in Linha de Onda's partner hostel, located right in the city center where you can enjoy what Porto's vibrant nightlife, great restaurants and bars, and amazing sightseeing.
Program
Learning to surf has never been so relaxed. Lean back and let the Linha de Onda team take care of everything! They will pick you up directly in Porto and take you to the beach with the best waves for your level. Before that, you will get a wetsuit and a surfboard. You choose the board together with one of the experienced surf instructors. During this course, you will collect incredible memories and remember this experience forever! What are you waiting for?
Meeting and preparation
Linha de Onda will pick you up directly in Porto. The exact meeting point is Praça Carlos Alberto. You will get to know your experienced surf instructor and the rest of the group, which always consists of a maximum of 8 participants. Together, you will select the best surfboard for you so that you can get the most out of your surf course. At Praia do Matosinhos, you will find many restaurants and cafés where you can find snacks to regain your strength.
Instructors
João Veiga
João was born and raised in Porto in 1983. Super passioned about the ocean and the waves since a child, started bodyboarding in 1995 and coaching in 2000, and never stopped ever since. Certified level1 surf instructor by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS) and also surf rescue safety and first aid course. Joao loves to ride waves and spend most of his days at the beach freesurfing and coaching.

- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
