Loved it! Already planning my next visit.
What an amazing spot. I had such a great experience that I am already planning the next visit with my family. This is a kitesurfing paradise. Riin and her staff are wonderful people. Helpful, available, and super friendly. I got to meet some other guests from different parts of the world, and they were pretty awesome too. The local food was delicious and fresh. This place is an off the grid gem.
The BEST kitesurfing holidays in Buen Hombre, Dominican Republic.
Kite Buen Hombre is THE BEST among dominican republic kitesurfing spots! The water is flat and shallow with beautiful blue colors and VERY few/ no other kiters. Amazing kitesurfing spot for both beginners as well as advanced kitesurfers. Personally I was a beginner and with help from the super talented local kite-instructor Micky from their kiteschool, I got up on the board and learned to upwind super quickly!
You will be welcomed by the most friendly and talented staff who will do their best to give you a good stay. The rustic lifestyle that the kite Camp offers, and the bungalows with views to the beach is all super charming. At breakfast and dinner you will meet fellow kitesurfers and eat delicious dominican food made by a local.
I went to republica dominicana with my boyfriend to enjoy a kitesurf trip. Originally we went to do kitesurfing in Cabarete. However, I had difficulties learning there as a beginner as there was A LOT of people, deep water and big waves. Therefore, we went on a trip to hotel playa Buen Hombre.

A kiters paradise in Buen Hombre, Dominican republic
My girlfriend and I went to kite in Buen Hombre for a day, and ended up spending a whole week in this kitesurf paradise. The spot is off the grid, but AMAZING! Both for beginners and advanced kiters. Water is beautiful and flat, and we had wind every day.
My girlfriend got lessons from Micky, the local kite instructor, who was a great teacher, and got her on the board super quickly. It is a great place to learn, due to the shallow waters around Buen Hombre, and we found it cheaper than in Cabarete.
The rustic lifestyle in the kite camp is cool, and you will meet many fellow kiters.
Food is local and delicious!
Bungalows are basic, and so close to the sea that you will wake up to the sound of the waves! :-)
Cant wait to go back to this beautiful spot!
