Thayri is a hostel with a young spirit. The guesthouse is located in the heart of Sidi Kaouki and has a beautiful garden and a terrace. They provide free showers with hot water, besides a self-serve guest kitchen is also at your disposal. They have comfy rooms, a warm chill-out area, and great staff. The advantages: ideal location, excellent price or quality ratio, guest kitchen, free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse is the perfect location to enjoy your holidays in this beautiful town of Sidi Kaouki. The hostel is located a one-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are for four people with four single beds, a shower, and a toilet.
Program
There are two surf lessons with wetsuits, boards, and leashes and one activity (camel ride, quad bike, horse riding, or dinner with a Berber family). Ibi surf house SARL is a small surf school run by Ibi. They create a welcoming, fun environment to learn surf but also experience the local culture. You will catch them having tea outside their shop overlooking the ocean. There is rarely an empty seat at their table because they love welcoming people from all walks of life into their little family.

Location
The camp will take place in Sidi Kaouki, Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, Morocco. Sidi Kaouki is a quaint little Berber village located on the west coast of Morocco (on the Atlantic Ocean). Imagine donkeys walking the streets, cats in cafes, and dogs sleeping in the middle of the road. It is quiet, beautiful, and off the beaten path. When you arrive here, you will immediately feel its magic. The people are open and kind, and there is something in the air that immediately makes your worries melt away. The ocean, stars, and sun are big here.
You will feel as if they are part of you and you are part of them. The sunsets over the ocean are dreamy and often the centerpiece of evenings. You will likely be invited to nights in the local restaurant, live music, and maybe a fire on the beach. It is an indescribable atmosphere - you have to feel it for yourself to understand it. If you want an authentic, soul-changing surf experience then the surf camp is for you.

Driving directions from Essaouira
- Head south and follow signs to Agadir.
- You will go through a town called Ghazoua.
- Keep following signs to Agadir.
- From Ghazoua, it is approximately 7 kilometers til the turn-off to Sidi Kaouki on the right.
- Follow the road until you reach Sidi Kaouki.
- From the main drop-off point, arrival point, or parking area in Sidi Kaouki, keep following the road along the ocean for approximately 500 meters.
- The surf school is one of the first buildings after the empty lots.
- It is a cute blue building with Kaouki Surf School written on it.
Arrival by bus
From Marrakech, you can take a Supratour or CTM bus to Essaouira. From Agadir, you can take a bus to Essaouira. From Essaouira, Lima bus (line 2) to Sidi Kaouki leaves from Bab Doukkala (45 to 60 minutes) or a grand taxi from Bab Doukkala to Sidi Kaouki (20 minutes).
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
