Riding a wave is one of the best feelings in the world! You’ve never tried it before or you have the basic skills and want to get better? This beginner surf package has been created for you who have not surfed before or have tried it once or twice and want to improve your surfing to the next level. With this package, you’ll learn about the surf basics and will start surfing in the whitewater or even start catching your first green waves.
The beautiful surf villa in Tamraght, a delightful riad-style building, offers all en-suite bathrooms or private bathrooms, each with single or double beds (Easy Surf Maroc does not have bunk beds and shared bathrooms). The rooms are all comfortable, with hotel-quality linen and dawn duvets, welcoming, and beautifully furnished in a traditional Moroccan way.
The surf house contains a big Moroccan salon with a 40-inch video projector, pool table, and Wi-Fi. The many sea view terraces are great for panoramic views, chilling out, or sunbathing. Yoga and sports lessons are also offered on the rooftop terrace with a stunning view over Taghazout Bay.
You will benefit from a two-hour surf lesson in the morning and free surfing under the constant guidance of the instructors in the afternoon every day. On this surf camp, you will learn some or all of the following during this surf holiday:
The visit to the souk of Agadir plunges you directly into a concentrated odor of flavors from the east and you will bring back memories after you have lost so alive in these shops (Moroccan leather goods, argan oil, carpets, blankets, jewelry, clothing, etc.).
There is also the possibility of the excursion through Paradise Valley which is surrounded by palm trees and transparent natural pools where you can dive into. The path through the ancient valley is easily accessible and will bring you to beautiful waterfalls (which may, unfortunately, be dry in summer).
Hicham is originally from Kenitra, North Morocco, and started surfing when he was 12 years old. Since then, his passion for watersports has grown more and more. Nine years ago, he started teaching professionally after having been approached by the Moroccan Surf Federation to become a fully qualified and certified instructor. As he started his career at an early age, he possesses a natural understanding of the ocean and the waves.
The surf accommodation is located in Tamraght, a charming Moroccan surfer village which is situated 20 minutes by car from Agadir and just three kilometers from the famous surfer town Taghazout. Tamraght is the perfect place to spend a relaxed surf holiday in Morocco as it’s less crowded than Taghazout but offers all the amenities you need for your surf holiday (surf shops, famous surf spots out the front door etc.).
The surf culture in Tamraght is still growing and you’ll find surf shops, restaurants, and money exchange office. Some of the best surf spots of the area are within walkable distance of the surf house, such as Banana Beach, Cro Cro Beach, and Devil’s Rock. Over 300 days of sunshine and consistent swell for surfing are awaiting you.
You will be served full board meals including breakfasts, packed lunches for the beach days, and dinners served on the sea-view terrace. Vegan and vegetarian meals are available on request.
As Islam prohibits the consumption of alcohol to Muslims, alcohol can only be sold in special stores in Agadir city. The vast majority of Moroccan restaurants do not have a drinking establishment license. Alcohol is sold in supermarkets or in public houses that are still outside the surf camp. You can always buy it in Agadir.
Please note that the stores selling alcohol close at 8 p.m. The places known to buy alcohol in Agadir are Metro, Uniprix, and Marjane. Ask Easy Surf Maroc and they will share the small addresses with you.
