Cuatro Vientos is a space designed for those who not only want to escape their everyday routine but also want to reconnect with their inner self. A cozy and private getaway who will allow visitors to relax and enjoy nature at its best.

The complex is thought to fulfill everyone's expectations: from private apartments for those looking for some privacy to a shared house with private rooms for those who prefer to make new connections but would also like to have their own sacred room. Our visitors will have the opportunity to choose the option that suits them best: there are double rooms with shared bathrooms and triple rooms with private bathrooms in the big house. The shared spaces such as the kitchen, working-area and living room are spacious and modern and will make guests feel at home.

There is a new deck on-site where different activities are carried out. Yoga and Pilates classes, meditation sessions, sound healing experiences, alternative healing practices such as reiki, breathwork and aura readings are only a few of the many activities that guests will have the possibility to join. Guests are also invited to take part in ceremonies and rituals that take place in this space.

The best part? Cuatro Vientos is located only 100m away from the beach. Guests will have the opportunity to experience in first person how living in paradise feels every time they go through the lush path that connects the complex and the ocean.

Different packages are offered to improve the experience. All of them include a welcome present, shuttle service to and from San José or Liberia airport, taxi service from Tambor airport, the needed material for the different scheduled activities and breakfast at La Esquinita (a homely coffee house located only 40m away.)

Private apartments

They count on a private deck with a garden view. Private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, A/C, parking space, and a private deck. It comes with a full-sized bed. Private Wi-Fi network and antenna.

Guest House

Choose between a triple room with a private en suite bathroom or a double room with a shared bathroom.

Triple room: it comes with a full-sized bed and a single bed.
Double room: It comes with a full-sized bed.

The guest house counts with a big shared desk, lounge area with comfortable sofas, barbeque area, and a fully equipped new kitchen.

These days are thought to disconnect to reconnect. At arrival, the host will welcome you and will hand in a courtesy that will be helpful during your stay. You will also receive your personal retreat schedule with the planned activities. You will receive all the information needed and they will accompany and guide you walk your days.

Rebirthing Breathwork:

Is an active breathing process. Rebirthing Breathwork is a healing modality that uses conscious connected breathing which induces deep relaxation and an expanded state of consciousness. By the end of the session, most people experience a deep sense of peace, well-being, and clarity.

Surf lessons:

Experience the most practiced sport in Costa Rica, surfing! The trained instructors will take you to the best spots so that you feel confident in the water and enjoy the moment!

Massage:

After long surfing and yoga days, the best option to relax your mind and body is a good massage. Brunel is the best in what she does, and you will love this 60-minute therapy.

Yoga classes:

We offer different kinds of yoga and all the levels are included. Yin yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yoga Integral, and Vinyasa flow.

Tortuga island

Enjoy a full-day boat trip to Isla Tortuga. Snorkel, have a delicious meal on the beach, and discover Costa Rica’s pure nature and wildlife. Be ready to fully relax on the beach while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean on the right and the landscape of the Nicoya peninsula on the left.

Guillermo Araya is 32 years old from the Puntarenas area in Costa Rica, and surfing is more than a passion for him; it’s a constant source of energy and satisfaction. He had been surfing for 15 years, and for the past 8 years, he had the opportunity to share this experience as a surf instructor. During this time, he was able to teach and pass on his love for this sport to people of all ages. Five years ago, Guillermo founded a legal company dedicated to offering surf lessons, and since then, they have been helping others connect with the ocean and enjoy this amazing discipline.

Location

Cuatro Vientos is located in Malpaís downtown: one minute away from the beach on foot and ten minutes away from Santa Teresa by car. Supermarket, restaurant, coffee shop, and beach access within walking distance. You will find the best surfing spots only 10 minutes away.

The complex is within walking distance from the Fishermen village, one of the most beautiful beaches in town: Playa Suecos, and Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve (one of the blue zones in the world).

The town is only 15 minutes away from Cabuya and 30 minutes away from Montezuma waterfalls.

Guided meditation:

Guided meditation to give yourself a few minutes, put your mind in the background and enjoy living the present moment. You will be using various tools to connect with this present and gratefully connect with life. These tools can be use whenever you need in your life to calm down your mind and connect with your truth. Finishing this beautiful session with sound healing for your soul

Cacao Ceremony:

The 1:1 emotional release and cacao ceremony is a private session where you will be guided trough meditation and music to go into the depths of any feelings that you need to let go of, it’s a 2 hr journey to discover what’s trapped inside your body and with writing, movement and dance you will let everything go and finish the session with your heart fully open thanks to the healing power of cacao.

Reiki:

Reiki is a complementary therapy relating to energy healing. Proponents say it works through the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to the client. Reiki aids relaxation, assists in the body’s natural healing processes, and develops emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being

Aura reading:

The aura reading session is a spiritual, emocional journey to discover all your past energetic dimensions. In this space you will be guide to find out your past lives, your karmic relationships, soul purpose, dharma and the current state of your energetic fiel and aura. You can ask as many questions regarding any areas of your life that might be troubling and you will leave the session with a sense of clear energy and emotions.

Sound be:

Relaxation and meditation with quartz bowls and healing musical instruments. They use crystals on the physical body, to intensify the relaxation and connection with the vibrations of the sound and the environment; managing to clean the energy field (aura) and balance body-mind-soul.

Stand Up Paddle:

In the morning or sunset, you will be able to watch Cabo Blanco beaches from your board in the middle of the ocean. A great experience to do close to the place.

Tortuga island:

Bioluminescence:

Closer to the sea surface, bioluminescence is commonly generated by a plankton known as “sea sparkle”, that produces flashes of light in response to movement, something like magic.

Spanish classes:

There is no better way to get immersed into a culture than by learning the language. Understanding local people and their unique expressions and ways of speaking can create a feeling of belonging. The Spanish classes will demolish this barrier: with each class, you will be a step closer to feeling “local”. All the teachers are bilingual and will prepare the necessary material to fulfill your personal needs when approaching the language: classes are personalized! They will also provide you with the possibility of putting what you have learned into practice: they have an optional monthly gathering! Come and enjoy a few drinks at sunset or dinner at one of the local restaurants!

Waterfalls trekking:

Enjoy a full day in the surroundings of Santa Teresa. You will visit the three most important waterfalls: Montezuma, Cocalito and La Florida, in a guided trekking that you will remember for life! Includes transportation, lunch, fruits, drinks and coconut water.

Cabuya + Cacao Tour:

We will visit the towns of Cabuya and Montezuma, its beaches, Isla Cementerio and surroundings. At the end, a cocoa tour where you will learn the process from when you harvest the fruit to the chocolate itself. You will take your chocolate bar made by your own hands. A plus? You can add a trek through the Cabo Blanco National Park!

Zip Line:

You'll be flabbergasted while zip-lining through the lush vegetation of the rainforest. The zip line tour is a fantastic way to take advantage of Costa Rica’s stunning canopy views. There isn´t any other ride like this: come and experience it yourself.

ATV rental:

Have some fun riding an ATV. This is one of the best ways to move around town, to go visit different beaches and to experience some other beautiful towns like Montezuma and Cabuya.

Snorkeling:

Mal Pais provides you with the possibility of finding natural pools on low tide where you will be able to chill. You can also go deeper with your snorkeling equipment to see turtles, stingrays, and all kinds of fish.

Bike riding:

Enjoy a bike ride through Mal Pais streets and beaches. Go to natural pools or go north to “El Peñon”, near Playa Hermosa. Explore trails and the roads, and enjoy nature.

Once you arrive at Mal Pais - Santa Teresa crossroad (Playa Carmen Mall where the banks, restaurants, and stores are) you have to head south through the main street. It's a 10-minute ride until Cabuya Road (in the corner of “La Esquinita" or “La Doña'' restaurant and coffee). Once you are in the corner, you just do 50 meters towards the mountainside (east).

Arrival by airplane

If you haven't bought your tickets yet, it would be great that you arrive really early in the morning so you can come the same day, or maybe a day before to sleep the first night in San Jose or Liberia and come here the next day during the morning.

The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
