The Santa Surf Villa is an adapted villa in the heart of beautiful Santa Cruz. The house is social, friendly, full of features, and has cool decor. The property offers comfortable rooms with two distinct floors. There are four shared rooms on the ground floor and five double rooms on the first floor if you want a little more privacy.
Large and fully equipped kitchen, daily maid service, large lounge, and free Wi-Fi are some of its facilities. There’s also a huge terrace with a barbecue area, pool, and a large garden. There are many common places of relaxation where you can listen to music, watch a movie, or relax in the garden after a long day of surf. You can also chill out by the pool or check what’s up in Santa Cruz.

Atlantic Coast Surf School can give you the best surfing break on the planet, be it for a solo, couple, family, or group. They have explored Portugal's Atlantic Coast extensively to find the best waves for you to offer on any given day for whatever level you are. The quest is to help guests to experience and learn surfing, safely and efficiently, no matter if it’s riding the first wave or the first barrel.
A team of passionate and motivated surf instructors from Atlantic Coast Surf School will help you to learn surfing from the basics or to develop your surfing skills even further. You will have top-quality surf lessons and personalized instruction by professionals who have long surfing experience and more than 10 years of experience teaching surf.
Every day, Atlantic Coast Surf School will carefully choose the best spot and tides and meet for the first lesson. After a break, you will have the second lesson. Afterward, you are able to go and explore the region and relax at the pool, or at one of the beautiful beaches around. During the lessons, you will have at your disposal top-quality surf material, suitable to your surf level to give the conditions and comfort you deserve.
There will be an explanation of how to deal with surf equipment, to make a surfboard your friend. It is guaranteed that you will receive all the critical knowledge and skills to surf safely.
Surf lesson schedules vary from day to day as they depend on ocean tides and weather conditions, but the team will always keep you updated. You will learn how to prepare your body for the surf session with a proper warm-up, enter the water in the right place and at the right time, choose waves and paddle efficiently, and manage to stand up on board. The goal is to keep balance and have fun!

Pedro Baião
Pedro B is a local boy! Former lifeguard at the beach. He studied nature and sports guiding, but after watching Atlantic Coast Surf School work every day while on lifeguard duty, well he joined the team! He’s super talented in dealing with people, careful, patient, and gentle with kids. He speaks perfect English, and understands Spanish and Portuguese is his native language.
Luis Pinheiro
Luis is also a local! He's a surf addict always in good mood and motivated to teach. With a martial arts background, he's used to different teaching approaches. He helps build ecologically sustainable and responsible operations! He speaks perfect English, and understands Spanish and Portuguese is his native language. Great mood and good vibes all around!
Location
Portugal is a very consistent surf spot, there are waves all year round. It is considered to be one of the most consistent countries to surf. This program will take place just a five-minute walk to the beach.
Located in the heart of Santa Cruz, about 30 minutes north of Ericeira, and an hour’s drive from Lisbon, The Surf Hostel is a few steps away from several beaches on the west coast north of Lisbon. With the advantage of being based in a wave-rich area that is much less known than the famous Portuguese surf hubs like Ericeira and Peniche.
When you get out of the hostel gates, you will find a nice peaceful village with good nightlife. Born in a family villa, The surf hostel embodies the pleasure of the beach, traveling, receiving friends, and making new friendships.
