I had a fantastic experience with Wildmex Surf and Adventure. My instructor, Omar, was very kind, patient, and helpful. With his help, I was able to stand on the board, surf, and even turn a little bit, all in my first surfing lesson ever. The water and waves that he chose to start with, were perfect for a beginner, and the difficulty rose as I progressed. The rest of the staff were also very kind. The equipment was of a good quality for beginner surfing. I highly recommend Wildmex and Omar!

This is our second boating trip with Wildmex and it is always a great time. Had two 8-year old kids with us and they had a blast. Got to see a couple whales on the way out to the island which was a great surprise. The snorkeling is always fun and this time we got to see a small shark. Our guide was super fun and informative and was very flexible with our kid program. This is always a must do for us when we come to Sayulita.

We had a blast with Mitch at WildMex. My boyfriend took a lesson with him each day while I rented a board and paddled out. Mitch is a first-rate surf instructor and human, and we couldn't have been happier with his energy and skill. Before arriving, I was a bit apprehensive about the board rental situation, but my concerns were not warranted as WildMex had plenty to choose from every day. There's also a nice cafe next to Wild Mex at La Lancha where we grabbed a snack after surfing each day. Frankie, who runs some of the operations, was also extremely accommodating. And when we decided to go snorkeling one afternoon, Javier and Mauricio made it happen in a moment's notice, arranging for us to tour the Marieta Islands about a half hour later.

Returning customer after four years. This place is great. Few of the things that stand out to me: Staff: Professional and supportive. From the coordination of the surf trips and logistics to and from the airport, the owner and his admin staff run a tight ship. Extra points for Mau in helping me find another place to stay so I could leave my nightmare hostel. Rides to the break are all coordinated. Instructors: They've got a new crew and they're great. Many surf camps state on their website that they cater to all surf skills but in reality this just isn't the case. So many I've been to only cater to the beginners. But my experience at Wildmex was not so. Instructors Reuben and Mitch really observed where I was at and provided technical advice on my turns which is what I really wanted to focus on. Quiver: They've got a damn good quiver. Aside from your regular foamies, they've got a good selection of performance boards including HyptoKryptos in the Sayulita location and Firewires at La Lancha. All in good shape as well.

I wanted to learn surfing in a nice and relaxed environment. Wildmex in Sayulita was exactly what I needed: nice staff, skilled teachers, beautiful beaches, good food, and great nightlife... Sayulita rocks! A bit too hot in August though... probably better in springtime or winter to come here!
