I had a fantastic experience with Wildmex Surf and Adventure. My instructor, Omar, was very kind, patient, and helpful. With his help, I was able to stand on the board, surf, and even turn a little bit, all in my first surfing lesson ever. The water and waves that he chose to start with, were perfect for a beginner, and the difficulty rose as I progressed. The rest of the staff were also very kind. The equipment was of a good quality for beginner surfing. I highly recommend Wildmex and Omar!

This is our second boating trip with Wildmex and it is always a great time. Had two 8-year old kids with us and they had a blast. Got to see a couple whales on the way out to the island which was a great surprise. The snorkeling is always fun and this time we got to see a small shark. Our guide was super fun and informative and was very flexible with our kid program. This is always a must do for us when we come to Sayulita.

We had a blast with Mitch at WildMex. My boyfriend took a lesson with him each day while I rented a board and paddled out. Mitch is a first-rate surf instructor and human, and we couldn't have been happier with his energy and skill. Before arriving, I was a bit apprehensive about the board rental situation, but my concerns were not warranted as WildMex had plenty to choose from every day. There's also a nice cafe next to Wild Mex at La Lancha where we grabbed a snack after surfing each day. Frankie, who runs some of the operations, was also extremely accommodating. And when we decided to go snorkeling one afternoon, Javier and Mauricio made it happen in a moment's notice, arranging for us to tour the Marieta Islands about a half hour later.

Returning customer after four years. This place is great. Few of the things that stand out to me: Staff: Professional and supportive. From the coordination of the surf trips and logistics to and from the airport, the owner and his admin staff run a tight ship. Extra points for Mau in helping me find another place to stay so I could leave my nightmare hostel. Rides to the break are all coordinated. Instructors: They've got a new crew and they're great. Many surf camps state on their website that they cater to all surf skills but in reality this just isn't the case. So many I've been to only cater to the beginners. But my experience at Wildmex was not so. Instructors Reuben and Mitch really observed where I was at and provided technical advice on my turns which is what I really wanted to focus on. Quiver: They've got a damn good quiver. Aside from your regular foamies, they've got a good selection of performance boards including HyptoKryptos in the Sayulita location and Firewires at La Lancha. All in good shape as well.

I wanted to learn surfing in a nice and relaxed environment. Wildmex in Sayulita was exactly what I needed: nice staff, skilled teachers, beautiful beaches, good food, and great nightlife... Sayulita rocks! A bit too hot in August though... probably better in springtime or winter to come here!

I visited Sayulita in late April and wanted to surf different reef breaks around Punta Mita. Since I was there only for a long weekend, I wanted to rely on someone else to know the best places to surf based on swell direction, tide and wind. I hired a surf guide at Wildmex as a private surf guide. He was great. Took me to several good spots where we scored the best waves in the area on those days. He was great to hang out with in the water while we waited to catch waves. The breaks were not crowded. Two recommendations: surf in the morning before the winds pick up. Second, Wildmex has one of the best quivers of any surf shop in a developing country I have ever seen. Probably 50+ boards of all lengths and shapes so leave your boards at home.

My two daughters and I booked four days of surfing with Wildmex. From start to finish, the entire experience was excellent. Ana made the booking painless and our instructor, Eduardo was great. Everyone we dealt with at both shops went above and beyond to help us. I can't say enough about how outstanding and professional Wildmex is. We will be back as soon as possible!

Went to Salulito with my family for the first day and the instructors were fun and taught us so well, we all stood up on our first wave. It was our first time surfing, and we loved it. Pretty much my eight-year old daughter never fell down, and is now hooked on surfing. We also went surfing in Punta Mita. There was a swell that came in, so the waves were much bigger. Gary, our instructor for the day gave us some great additional training tips. My daughter caught a few waves throughout the day, and she had a great time. The thing that stood out the most for me that day was that he was pretty much one-to-one with my daughter to make sure she was comfortable and safe. Once the waves picked up and the sets started to roll in, he helped her to shore for her own safety. I am very glad he did that as it was the right thing to do safety wise. Overall, they have great instructors, who are fun and knowledgeable.

I had a great time doing the six-day camp. Jorge, Carlos, and Augustin were lots of fun and each helped me to gain more and more confidence each day! Can't wait to get back in the water.

I have been taking beginner surf lesson in time to time. I enjoyed every time I was in ocean but never gone too far. This time, I took twelve-day lesson with them. I had a great instructor, Luis. He was so patient with me and very professional. Although my stubborn head could not follow everything he taught me, by the end of my lesson, I was so happy about myself being able to enjoy surfing. There were beautiful scenery beyond waves which I'd never seen before my life. I cannot thank him enough to take me there. Before my vacation started I made inquiries by email. I received prompt and most precise reply from Anna and Andrea. These smart ladies made my worries for travel go away immediately. Most of other surf camp has fixed schedule, but with them I could ask when I want to start, and how many days, etc, very flexible. It suited my travel plan very well. If you don't hear from them soon enough, that must be some system error. Try again! All other staffs are friendly and very nice, too. I really enjoyed my vacation with them. I highly recommend WildMex to everyone who interested in surfing.
