La Maison Eco Surf House Boutique
To maintain its original purpose of being a home, this earth-friendly boutique is affectionately called “La Maison”, or “The house”. Next door to the local palm grove, this tranquil 7-room habitat for adventurers can be home for you too.
La Maison is hidden within an enchanting corner of the vibrant local neighborhood of Máncora. Just outside the tumult of downtown Máncora, La Maison is only a 5-minute walk from the beach and all the food and activities Máncora has to offer. The La Maison family can help you book kite-surfing, yoga, and local experiences for competitive prices.
We have 7 unique rooms that cater to whatever experience adventurers are looking for. Prices range from 35 USD to 90 USD (*subject to variation in high-season). Healthy breakfast, daily cleaning services, and Wi-Fi are included for everyone.
La Maison has a boutique swimming pool, family dining room, intimate terrace overlooking the palm-grove, cozy hammock, and complimentary tea station.
As an Eco-House we hope to help Earth and Pachamama breathe easier and live longer. While this means a slightly higher cost of operation, our family is grateful for you choosing to travel eco with us.

- 11:30 Go aboard the Truppy or tuktuk to the kite club on a beautiful spot 20 minutes down the coast.
- 12:00 - 17:00 2h Kiteboarding lessons!
- 17:30 Sunset beer
- 18:00 - 20:00 Free time/gathering at the camp
- 20:00 - 22:00 Dinner, games, talk, read, or go out party!

The mornings on the Peruvian north shore have a quiet beauty. You will get amazing sunrises here without any wind, which provides the perfect opportunity to go for a surf session, or lesson, prepare yourself for the day in a yoga class, or just relax with a good book at the hotel.
Description
The wind starts here around noon and drops around 6 p.m. So there is more than enough time to improve your kitesurf skills. The kitesurf lessons are private and around 2 hours long. The kitesurfing club is 20 minutes away from the village. After your kite lessons, you can shape your sunset and night, as you want. This is your free time from the surf camp and not included in the package price.
Kiteboarding lessons include:
- One of the super pro, rad IKO* certified instructors
- The last generation kitesurfing gear from one of the 3 leaders brands
- Insurance in case the gear is damaged during the kite lessons
- All safety equipment kept to the European standards
- If needed, walkie-talkie radios for communication on the water
- Transfer to Los Organos the neighbor spot, if needed
- And last but not least, your IKO certification
Instructors
Axel Natali
Axel is part of the Cabrinha Kiteboarding Peruvian team, IKO certified kite instructor and your gentle host. After he worked 3 years for the America’s Cup and quite a lot of travelling, Axel arrived in Peru in 2008 and never came back.
Pepa
After a long day on the waves Pepa will be your best friend. For a calming body refresh and mental preparation for tomorrow´s waves, Pepa's abilities will cure and reboot all.
Location
Wild Kite Peru is based in Máncora. Formerly (and still) a fisherman's village, Máncora also became a sunny halt for international backpackers and surfers. All around Máncora, the Peruvian north shore provide a wide variety of secret and untouched places, virgin surf and kite spots, and a surprising semi-equatorial eco-system when you go inland.

Arrival by airplane
There is a new airport in Mancora: (Punta Sal) operated by Atsa airlines, but only a couple of days per week. Check their flights online. Or arrange your flight to arrive at Talara, Tumbes, or Piura. Mancora is 10 minutes from Capitán FAP Víctor Montes Arias International Airport (TYL), 1 hours and 10 minutes from Talara, 1 hours and 45 minutes away from Tumbes, and 2 and a half hours away from Piura.
Arrival by taxi
Once you have arranged your flights, let us know the details and Wild Kite Peru will send you a taxi to pick you up. If you have an internet connection, they will ask you to confirm the flight when you're at the airport.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
