        "Great experience with excellent instruction"

        Magu is an excellent instructor, many times our trips to the beaches we were stopped by locals and I was told about how Magu had taught them growing up. Every morning we'd decided on a beach based on the surf report which meant I got to experience many different beaches and surf spots. A few days we went out more than once. He has an excellent way of explaining how to read waves and position for the next set. Over the stay we worked on many balance drills and used a surf skate to mimic the feel of turns on a wave and proper body positioning. Prior to coming I had never linked turns now I am comfortable doing so. I was able to shorten my board length by almost a foot on this trip. All the people involved in Waterman surf school are the nicest and most accommodating people and really make an effort to make sure you're enjoying your stay. If you are a group and had the whole place booked it would be perfect. The picture and video review was also extremely helpful to really show you what mistakes you are making, it made a world of difference.
