The villa
Vista Do Mar started operating in 2008 and offers two guesthouses. They both boast eight luxury rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The main area offers a rusting dining and lounge area with a big screen television and a fully serviced bar, pool table, and a tennis table. The two spectacular sparkling pools feature comfortable sunbeds where you can relax, perfect for a morning dip, all-day lounging, or sipping cocktails in the afternoon.
Laundry service is available at an additional cost. Children of all ages are welcome.

For the fishing enthusiasts, hire a deep-sea fishing boat, complete with a skipper, fishing rods, and bait. Fishing expeditions are exceptional in Barra, Mozambique. A catch-and-release policy is encouraged.
Deep-sea fishing takes place from mid-October on a 45ft catamaran. The game fish that Vista do Mar Lodge targets: sailfish, blue / black marlin, couta, wahoo yellowfin tuna, dorado, king fish, prodigal, skipjack, and rainbow runner.
Quad biking
There’s no better way to get your adrenaline pumping than to explore Inhambane on quad bikes! There are 4×4 tracks, sand dunes, inland lakes, and nearby forests that can be enjoyed on a quad bike.

Arrival by car
The highway is good from Gauteng to Maputo. The road from Maputo to Inhambane is slightly potholed, so be careful. It is not advised that you travel at night, because there is no lighting on the road and other vehicles often have inadequate lighting.
