Tropical Camas is where the shared rooms are, and Kame House is where the private rooms are. Both are next to each other, just steps away from the beach. It's a really relaxed environment surrounded by nature. You will also have space for cooking with a fully equipped kitchen that is shared with the other guests.
Program
You will wake up to have a surf session in the morning depending on the tide and also your surfing skills. If you are a beginner, you will surf in Jaco in the rainy season and in Hermosa if the waves allow it in the summer.
If you are an intermediate or advanced surfer, we will surf with you at Playa Hermosa or take you where the surf is the best, depending on the tide and swell.
Playa Hermosa is a good place to improve your surfing, but if the swell and the surfing get beyond your level you will have transportation to Playa Jaco to surf with your instructor.

Rafael Villavicencio
Rafael Villavicencio is a local surfer from Costa Rica who enjoys good waves. His life has been built around surfing, with a focus on making the most of the experience. There is a strong appreciation for good waves, along with a passion for teaching others about the stoke of surfing and helping them learn properly about surf culture.
Location
Tropical Camas is located in Playa Hermosa, Jaco, 50 meters north from the soccer field of Playa Hermosa. It is in a very chill location surrounded by nature in a very friendly and uncrowded surf location.
It's a perfect place for beginners during the summer and to improve your surfing, but during the rainy season, it is a perfect place to upgrade your surfing skills in the most consistent surf break in Latin America. All of this is walking distance from Tropical Camas.
Depending on the waves and swell, beginners will be surfing in Jaco, or other user-friendly mellow surf spots, while intermediates and advanced surfers can surf in front of the hostel location most of the time

The breakfast will be a Costa Rican typical dish (gallo pinto, plantains, and eggs) it also include fruits, so as coffee or orange juice.
