Join Surf Samara's bijou surf camp in Playa Samara, Guanacaste for a truly unique experience. Samara is the perfect spot to learn how to surf, the water is always warm, the waves are gentle and nice and there are no dangerous currents or rocks in the water. In seek of the perfect wave our ISA-certified coaches will take you to explore the beaches nearby. After surfing you can relax at their big pool, have a yoga session, or check out the area with the beach bike provided by the camp. You will spend the nights in one of the cozy treehouses surrounded by nature. Besides the surfing lessons this surf camp offers a genuine experience of Costa Rica's lifestyle, nature, and people. This small camp has space for six people only which allows to give you the personalized attention you need to improve your surfing skills. Come and join the family!

Surf Samara also offers a rancho where you have yoga lessons and morning stretches. Here you can find a shared kitchen which you can use if you want.
Program
Surf Samara weekly packages include six personalised surfing lessons with a maximum of three surfers per coach, so they can guarantee you the attention you need to improve your skills. The surfing lessons include theory, ethics and etiquette, stretching, ocean awareness, and feedback.
According to your level and the swells, they will take you to the spot that suits you best, during the week you will learn to know many different waves and beaches. The 3 video analyses and daily feedback from the coaches will make you a better surfer in no time. The yoga classes are held in the rancho during your stay and are scheduled according to the surf sessions. In your free time, you can take our beach cruisers and explore the town or nearby beaches, you can hike the jungle trails and watch the diverse and beautiful wildlife or you can grab your board and enjoy another surf session.

Location
Surf Samara is located in Playa Samara a laid-back beach town in Guanacaste on the Peninsula de Nicoya. They are located in the middle of a surf rich area, where you can find waves all year around. You can find the treehouses a little outside of town (5-10 Minutes bike ride to the beach and town), on top of a lush hill, green and full of life. The tree houses are designed to fit the environment and make you feel immersed in nature. You can spend the afternoon chilling in one of the hammocks in the garden, watching wildlife and relax and cool down in the beautiful pool. From here you can grab a beach cruiser to go to town or explore the area and beaches nearby.
Food
This package includes daily breakfast and two dinners (food is not included in the basic package). Local, fresh, and organic according to your desires. Please inform Surf Samara if you have any allergies or food preferences.
