House host, kite and surf instructor and dedicated chef, Octa is always in a good mood and positive energy. He coordinates the lessons, logistics of the house and surf and kitesurf trips. With a bachelor's in international business, custom agent, and international transport agent, after 10 years working on international development commerce and logistics for worldwide companies left that life behind to chase the wind and the waves.

Great surf program at the beach
I only had a few days and wanted to do something fun on the beach. This program was the best choice. I was able to focus for 5 days in learning how to surf. The instruction was professional and fun, in perfect english. The food was just delicious. The House is warm, comfy and with stunning views.

North shore experience
Surf Racer was a breath of fresh air during my travels. Chelu and Octavio are so nice, knowledgeable and friendly. They have created a safe place to be, stay and learn. I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit the north shore.

Amazing surf camp experience
The food was amazing! The best I have ever ate. The location of the resort was quiet and remote. Chelu was a great surf instructor and she is so nice. I could have not asked for a better experience. I will have to return someday!

A slice of the good life
Everything about this camp was excellent: the venue, food, instructions and vibes.
It’s in a truly amazing part of the world where surfing is like a local religion.

Piece of paradise
Female solo travelers found this surf camp as the best place to unwind after several months of traveling. Chelu is a great coach, she helped me overcome my fears and enjoy every moment (good and bad) in the water. The food was wonderful, and the rooms were nice and clean. The view is spectacular.

Little gem in north Peru
The Surf house is nice and stylish, with comfy shared areas and great for learning, chilling and connecting. I joined one of the surf yoga retreats package and had a wonderful time. The teaching inside and outside the water was incredible, the meals by the Chef delicious, the yoga needed and the people unique. Thanks for the great times!

No crowds and good waves
We booked our stay at the last minute and we were fortunate. We originally were staying in Mancora but got frustrated by the poor surfing lessons quality and the crowds. At Surf Racer all these problems disappeared: our surf instructor was professional and experienced (and an english speaker) and we learned on a beautiful beach just 10 minutes away, with absolutely no crowds. Time of our lives! Will return and recommend it!

Best surf coach
Chelu is a great instructor. She took us to an empty surf break and corrected all the bad habits that I had from previous teachers. Only in one lesson I was able to feel the difference. The Surf House is also a great place to stay and chill.

Peaceful surfing gem
Wonderful stay at this surfcamp in Peru. Chelu and Octavio created a peaceful space where people get together to enjoy days in the water, eat healthy and reconnect. Everything was arranged at the very last detail. I left full of energy, able to surf my first waves and with the joy of having spent beautiful days with wonderful people. Thanks for the good times!

Great surfing place
Had a great time at Surf Racer House. Chelu and Octavio are excellent hosts, instructors and people. The surf conditions were perfect to learn, water is warm, waves mellow and no other surfers around but the guests and the team. I will definitely repeat.

La Surf House con más onda de Perú
Me alojé unos días en Surf Racer House y me encantó. La casa tiene mucha onda y estilo, está muy bien equipada, es muy cómoda y a pasos de la ola de la zona. Todo el equipo, desde los dueños hasta los chicos que viven en la casa son muy copados, siempre con una sonrisa y te hacen sentir como en casa. La cocina está realmente muy bien equipada y hacíamos compras en el pueblo de al lado o pedimos delivery. Personalmente, me gusto mucho la locación y la playa y, aunque al principio parece alejado, está todo muy bien organizado para que sea simple moverse. ¡Muy recomendable, hasta la próxima!

Great surfing and cool people
I had a great experience learning how to surf at Surf Racer House. Will, my australian surf instructor, was patient, knowledgable and funny. Waves were smooth and nice, perfect for learning... and it was only us in the break. The house staff is attentive and friendly, I felt like home from the moment I crossed the front door.

Surf and adventure in the desert
Surf racer is located on a hidden oasis in northern Peru with a perfect wave in front. It has everything you need for a total disconnection and enjoyment of every board sport that cross your mind. The Surf house is nice and comfortable and the staff is welcoming and professional. The area is not as remote as I was expecting as ñuro village is just few minutes away and they serve delicious menus at cheap prices and great quality.

Peruvian surfing heaven
Surf Racer house is the place you wanna go if you are looking for a safe, friendly and relaxing place, with surfing community and always positive vibes. I enjoyed my stay there so much that I can only recommend it.
The surfing is just amazing, as an intermediate beginner, I was able to improve a lot. The waves break right in front and it's a sand bottom left point break. Just perfect.
The Surf House is great and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. The kitchen has everything you need and the company was truly amazing.

Kitesurfing holiday in Peru
I’m beyond thrilled with my experience with the Surf Racer Peru team.
I spent some days learning how to kitesurf and it was the holiday of a lifetime.
All the staff made my stay easy and relaxed. It was the perfect balance of activities and relaxation. Everyone knew what to do and was always on time but of course, the atmosphere was super chilled at the same time.
North shore Peru is a great place to kite, we had wind every single day and conditions were perfect. The kite house is located in a beautiful area and the kite school has top kitesurfing gear, walkie-talkies and bilingual instructors; I learned with Tito (he is great!).
The yoga was great to end the day and the food… delicious, fresh and homemade by a wonderful cook.
I would love to come back one day and recommend it to everyone who wants to learn to kite and surf.

All in one: Kitesurf, yoga, surf, skate
had a very active holiday with a lot of kitesurfing with the Surf racer team; it really boosted my confidence and level to practice in Los Organos spot. The area is also really nice for a beach hike or other sports, such as surfing or SUP. The staff is super friendly and the lodge is clean and cozy, with delicious meals every day. Also, there is a skate bowl and boards available for the guest to use… so fun! Highly recommend it, and will be back in the future.

Best Kitesurf Camp in Peru
Had such a great time doing the kitesurfing and yoga program with Surf Racer Camp!
The instructor did an amazing job getting the best out of the days and conditions !
In addition, the services and hospitality at the surf house were excellent: gourmet food from breakfast to dinner, yoga lessons, daily housekeeping and the activities that the Team recommended: we went on a whale watching tour one day with the other guests and took a few skateboarding lessons. Also, massages were incredible and cold beers at the beach to watch the sunset were a must.
I highly recommend this Camp to any traveler looking for a safe and friendly kitesurfing experience in Peru.

Incredible Property. Wonderful People. My best Surf Camp
I could not say enough wonderful things about Surf Racer Board House. The surf camp is located on a beautiful beach in northern Peru - El Ñuro - next to a small fishing village, which makes it really local and special. As everything is included in the package, I didn’t feel or need anything else, so I was able to focus on surfing, yoga, and having a good time. I woke up every day with birds chirping and went to sleep with the sound of the ocean.
Communal breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included and served daily on the outside terrace, the chef took really good care of us with fresh homemade meals adapted to our needs (I don’t eat meat so loved the vegetarian and fish-based menu).
Accommodations were comfortable and cleaned daily, bedrooms are big and with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and the fishing boats. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make sure all guests have a great time.
I also really liked and enjoyed how the daily program is organized as they focus on getting the best of the surfing conditions. Generally, the surfing lessons take place on a stunning remote beach 10 minutes driving, but depending on the conditions and your surfing experience, you might surf on the local break.
Surfboards are also at your disposal if you want to go for a sunset surf session, which I did. The local break is incredible and the local surfers are really nice and friendly.
I can highly recommend this place if you are looking forward to spend a great surf holiday!

Amazing surf camp: Beautiful, welcoming, safe and fun
Surf Racer House is a secret spot on the edge of heaven.
It´s a surf camp with everything that you need for an amazing surfing experience: no crowds with fun and welcoming waves and, at the same time, really safe and chill. I found the location unique and private, even if there are no restaurants or shops close by. It´s exactly what you need if you are looking to slow down and chill, enjoy the beach and waves and get some quality time for yourself.
I enjoyed my surf lessons and felt very safe and well taken care of. The instructor was really professional, motivating and patient. Best of all though, they take you to the best surf beach with the best surf conditions and least people to compete with so you can really work on your surfing.
The staff are welcoming and will do anything to make your stay perfect.
The surf house has a really nice and chill vibe; the bedrooms are very comfortable, and super clean and they even tidy them every day without fail.
Junior the Chef is amazing! I didn’t have one bad meal in the camp, every single meal was delicious!!
Yoga was also a necessary activity in the afternoons, the teacher is also a surfer, so she perfectly understands what is needed after a day in the water.
All in all, would highly recommend it without a single doubt! It was truly paradise on earth :)

The right choice to surf in Peru
After spending a few days in Mancora town trying to surf with too many locals and crowds, I decided with a friend that we needed a different place for the rest of our stay in the peruvian northern shore... and we founded Surf Racer House... and it was the right choice.
I enjoyed the peace, the beach, the surf, the first class food and the staff. Everybody was nice, professional and friendly; both the staff and the other guests.
I didn´t feel it remote or secluded, I felt it was the right place for what I was looking for: surf with no crowds, chill and eat good.
The surfing was one of the best in my life... we literally were the only ones surfing in that beach, the food was perfectly home-made cooked every day and the rooms are big and with a beautiful view of the ocean and the fishing boats.
I recommend Surf Racer to every traveler looking for a professional, safe and friendly surf camp in Peru.

Best surf camp!!
I just loved every day of my stay at Surf Racer House! I was supposed to stay just for a few days but decided to extend my stay for 2 more days as I didn’t want to leave! The surfing was great, we had a great instructor and surfed on a beautiful beach where we were the only ones!
The food is delicious, every meal was carefully prepared and really healthy.
The yoga was everything what I need to stretch and unwind after a morning at the beach.
And the House is beautiful, comfortable (best beds where I slept in Peru so far!), with everything that you needed. The location is stunning with almost a private beach (you can hear the waves breaking at night while you sleep).
The Staff? Lovely, professionals and attentive.
I can only recommend Surf Racer to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun time in Peru north shore.

Expect the unexpected
The Surf Racer Board House had a lot of character! Our group of four, as the only ones at the house, enjoyed the outdoor living space and beach views. The instructors and staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a very individualized experience for us. The food was SO good. Made by a private chef, the food gave us a great taste of Peruvian cuisine- especially the deserts! The surfing itself was also great. The surf spot we went to was not crowded at all, and had some good waves. However, the waves got a bit difficult for beginners at times. The surf instruction was fairly effective, and the yoga afterward was lovely and relaxing. The structure for the day was organized nicely with the surfing in the morning when the water was calmer and time to relax in the hot afternoon. Overall we all had a great time in Peru and would recommend this experience for anyone looking for an adventure off the beaten path!

Stay at Surf Racer House!!!
Hospitality and hosts were amazing, food was beyond amazing, the vibe of the house very comfortable and chill and welcoming. You can hear the waves crashing from your room! Our surf instructor, Bernardo, was also fantastic! He was very thorough and patient and encouraging! Such a wonderful experience and exactly what I was hoping for. My only regret is seriously not staying with Octavio and the gang longer. We were so sad to go. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway
The location is what makes this place perfect for a getaway. Its far from the city and meters away from the beach.
The rooms have a beautiful ocean view of Ñuro, a fishermans town.

Nothing but good times at Surf Racer House
I had a wonderful time and learned a ton at Surf Racer House. The schedule was great, surf in morning after breakfast, then kitesurfing after lunch, and a yoga session just before dinner. Chelu is an excellent kiteboarding instructor, she explained everything very clearly. Octavio and I went out surfing in the mornings and he gave me some very helpful tips that improved my technique and allowed me to drop in sideways on a breaking wave for the first time instead of only going towards the shore. The food was exceptional, traditional homemade Peruvian dishes with fantastic presentation, Octavio is an excellent chef. Overall an amazing surf camp, you u will not be disappointed.
