Program
This is a supported kite safari experience designed to offer both freedom and professional guidance throughout the trip.
Participants who bring their own equipment are free to kite whenever they wish, including on arrival and departure days, provided their flight schedules allow it. Some participants will arrive with their own gear, others may choose to rent equipment, and some may require lessons.
For those taking lessons, all necessary equipment is provided during the lesson sessions. Lessons are optional and are not included in the base price.
This is not a self-guided program. Staff are present at all times to support the group. The team assists with equipment setup, launching and landing, provides on-water supervision, and carries out water safety support and rescues when needed. Whether participants choose to kite independently or prefer more guidance, staff remain with the group throughout the safari to ensure safety, coordination, and smooth daily operations.
Equipment
Most people will bring their own kite equipment. Gear hire is available if required. Obviously, Surf Connect Watersports Centre cannot guarantee wind, but treat this as a dream holiday, and wind is a bonus!
Note
Surf Connect Watersports Centre tours are well known for their top organisation. They take care of everything for you, so you just relax, kite, relax, kite, relax, eat, relax and in between, a few drinks and have a good time! But please note that the holidays are professionally organized tours and not a ‘Get drunk’ or ‘Misbehave’ getaways. Alcohol is of course allowed and available, but they do not want anyone to go overboard and behave silly.
Included excursions
Local tours are included in the package. There are also lots of optional activities available at resort too, so lots to do for kiters as well as non-kiters. Very suitable for families or partners/friends who are not kiters.
Location
The resort is located about two hours from Ho Chi Minh International Airport. The kite beach is right on location so you do not need to travel at all. It is a very well facilitated resort with lots of activities to do when you want a break from kiting, or have non-kiting partners or family coming along.
Food
Plenty of choices at resort or local places which serve local authentic meals at very reasonable price. Hotel accepts credit card so you can just put all your expenses under your room and pay at the end.
