Logos Beach Village

Overview
Windsurf beginner course
In order to learn windsurfing at Theologos, it is not necessary to have any prior knowledge. Surf and Kite Theologos teaches in small-scale groups and have optimal training materials. That is how Surf and Kite Theologos makes it easy and fun for you! In four days at two hours a day, the licensed instructors will bring you on the board.
In order to come closer to the dream of floating and strong windsurfing, it is necessary at this point to master the basic techniques such as jibes and beach starts on the longboard. In the “Aufsteigerkurse” (ändern) Surf and Kite Theologos chooses, it is depending on customer preference and skills, between three-four different techniques. The surf course can be taken on your own equipment or on the rentable material.
Content: Refreshing of the beginner course topics, tack, jibe, beach start, harness sailing, material (equipment) science, safety rules.
VDWS windsurf basic license
The internationally recognized VDWS basic license officially certifies basic windsurf knowledge and grants the right to surf in international waters. In addition, the license simplifies rental of equipment without nuisance discussions about the own surfing abilities. Just as the adults, the younger guests can also complete the course with the VDWS junior certificate, which allows those under the age of 18 to go home with their driver's license.
Location
This kitesurf camp will take place in Theologos, Greece. Surf and Kite Theologos' kite center is located on a 2500 square meters property and offers a lot of space on the beach and on the water. The kite station has to offer Core and Carved equipment, music, Wi-Fi, shadow areas, storage boxes, Billys delivery service, and a changing evening program.
Surf and Kite Theologos' surf and kite stations are close together but you won’t interfere on the water. The beach is in close walking distance between the two stations and offers enough space to train, learn new tricks, or just relax and enjoy the Meltemi.
Logos Beach Village
The Logos Beach Village is located in Theologos, just five kilometers south of Rhodes International Airport (RHO), on the west coast of the island. From Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, you can reach the island in just over four hours. The extensive complex covers 10,000 square meters and is located directly behind the kite station with direct access to the spot. Also, the windsurfing station can be reached on foot over the beach after only 300 meters. The 16 residential units are generously distributed in the pretty gardens and therefore offer a lot of privacy and a family atmosphere. Due to the staggered situation, some lodges have a great view of the spot.
There are a few grocery stores next door to the Logos Beach Village. Hang Loose Surf and Kiteshop, is a place where you can stock up on the latest beach fashion and rent car, quad, and scooter.
Theologos
Theologos is located just five kilometers south of Rhodes International Airport (RHO) at the west coast of the island. Theologos is an old Greek village with a special flair. There, you will find the authentic Greece. The Butterfly Valley, a five-kilometer-long gorge near Theologos, is definitely worth a visit. Visitors will find pure nature here with a lake and several waterfalls.
Your windsurf spot at Rhodes

At the windsurf center on the beach right in front of the TUI Best Family Hotel Alex Beach, Surf and Kite Theologos has got more than 80 sails from Point-7 and 50 Patrik Boards ready for you. In addition, Surf and Kite Theologos has training equipment in various sizes in order to get you excited and fascinated about windsurfing, just as the VDWS certified staff. The equipment will be renewed every season to guarantee high-quality equipment. Neoprene, harnesses, and other equipment are available in sufficient amount and included in the rental price.
At the windsurf station
It goes without saying, that you will find every modern convenience of a professional surf station: Sweetwater showers and restrooms at the beach, seating and a chill-out area, the Beach Bar, sun loungers and sun-shades directly at the center.
The wind at the station
At the beach, the Meltemi wind gives you a lot of power in your sails. The wind gets compressed between the island and the Turkish mainland and due to the local thermal further strengthened. In the mornings the wind blows a little bit lighter and is therefore perfect for beginner surfers, whereas during midday the advanced riders get their money’s worth. In midsummer, the wind blows side-onshore from the southwest, creating a small wave at the shore and a swell further out.
Beside windsurfing
Any accommodation (Alex Beach Hotel, Nirvana, Sea View, Happy Days or Let it Be, Logos Beach Village), you will reach the station in a few meters. For an easy and safe start into kitesurfing, surf, and kite, Theologos offers you a beginner course, where you’ll learn all the basic techniques and get a VDWS kite license. The training gear is all brand new and you’ll, therefore, get introduced to the newest kitesurf material and safety system.
Kitesurf beginner course
In this course, Surf and Kite Theologos teaches you to step by step the basic techniques of kitesurfing. The goal of this course is to enable you to safely continue practicing on your own. In order to guarantee an optimum learning progress and safety, the course is taught in very small groups with a maximum of three participants per instructor - and of course in your language.
Surf and Kite Theologos' kite surf courses mostly integrate the theory into the practice sessions, as they believe that optimal progress is only guaranteed through active training with the kite.
