Accommodation
The Sunset Surf House provides the authentic Moroccan experience, coated in traditional furnishings from local souks and surfing gear, paying homage to the local surfing culture. We offers various bedrooms to meet the different preferences and travel budgets of our guests. Each bedroom is designed differently. A warm welcoming atmosphere is guaranteed in all our rooms.
A two-story terraced area, multiple communal areas, a large dining area, table tennis, hammocks, and a kitchen; there is no shortage of places to relax after a day on the waves! We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the surf house and have comfortable work/study spaces.
Program
This surfing package will give you 9 days of 3-hour surf lessons each and a supervised afternoon surf session with guidance from qualified instructors.
A day at the Sunset Surf House starts with a balanced breakfast that can be enjoyed in the morning sun on the rooftop. Load the car to check what surf spot suits your level. Sunset Surfhouse will check where the waves will be the best to suit your needs and provide transportation to the spot. Once you arrive, they surf with you and document your adventure. Go with Sunset Surfhouse's experienced surf instructors to one of the many great surf spots near Tamraght, where you'll be surrounded by the blissful African coastline and sun.
After having made another big step in your surfer's journey, you can relax in the comfort of the Sunset Surf House. Relax watching TV, using the Wi-Fi, playing board games or table tennis with other guests! While you wind down, traditional Moroccan food is being prepared in the kitchen. The dinners at the Sunset Surf House are famous for both the quality of food and the great vibe. Fancy a day off from surfing? Speak to a host to organize day trips to local attractions!
Sunset Surfhouse's instructors will teach you about the best spots along the Moroccan coast. If you have never surfed before or would like to hone your skills, this package is suitable for you. Experienced surf instructors will help you develop your surfing skills, teach you how to paddle, pop up, and ride the waves!
After couple of hours in the water, we lunch during the day either at the beach or a local restaurant to refill your energy. Baguettes, fresh salads, tajines, or pizza could be on the menu after a couple of hours in the water.
In the evening it’s time to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at 8:30 p.m. with great family vibes in the Surf House.

Location
Sunset Surf House is located in Tamraght, a charming Berber village, 20 minutes drive from Agadir and just 5 km from the famous surfer town Taghazout. Tamraght is the perfect place to spend a relaxed surf holiday in Morocco; less crowded than Taghazout with just as many quality surf spots across a long 10 km stretch of beach! Local shops, bakeries, restaurants, hammam bathhouses and camel rides on the shore are all within 500 meters of the surf house to cater for your every need!
When your time to move on comes, Tamraght is very well connected with busses to Essaouira and Taghazout to the north and Agadir, with its airport and international bus station (bus 32/33), to the south!
The surf culture in Tamraght is buzzing and you’ll find surf shops, restaurants, and a money exchange office. From the rooftop our guests can check the waves, grab their board and will be in 5 minutes walking time on Devil's beach.
According to tide and the daily conditions, we are taking our guests to different surf spots such as:

Food
To load their batteries for the surfing day ahead, we offer our guests a variety of healthy food for breakfast. Fresh fruits, eggs, bread, yoghurt, oats and cereals can be found on our bountiful table accompanied by juices, tea, and coffee.
With salty hair and sandy feet, it's time for lunch on the beach after the morning surf session. Sandwiches, salads, fruits and snacks build the selection that so far filled every hungry stomach after the one or other wipe-out from the board.
The culinary highlight is awaiting our guests in the evening. Moroccan dishes are influenced by Berber, African, Arab, and French cultures and therewith give the food a real sense of variety and richness. Nearly everything used in the Moroccan cuisine is locally grown.
To share this unique taste with our guests, we often prepare a Tajine for dinner. A Tajine is the clay cooking pot with a conical lid and at the same time, it is the name of the dish, too. It is uniquely Moroccan and our guests are always welcome to our kitchen to watch our chef preparing this dish.

Please book your flight to arrive at Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA). The best travelling alternative is flying to Agadir–Al Massira Airport or when coming from another city or airport to take the bus to Agadir bus terminal. For both locations, Sunset Surfhouse offers complementary transfer on arrival and departure date.
Sunset Surf House is located in Tamraght, 40 minutes' drive time north of Agadir and 20 minutes' drive time south of Taghazout (a small romantic fishing village).
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
