Program
This is not just a surf camp, and not just a yoga retreat. It is a space to slow down, reconnect, and experience island life in a raw and meaningful way. Designed for all levels, from beginners to more experienced practitioners, this holiday adapts to you. Each day flows with the rhythm of the ocean, the tides, and the weather, combining movement, rest, and adventure. Beyond surf and yoga, you will explore waterfalls, go on island-hopping trips, enjoy sunrise meditations, evening workshops, and slow moments surrounded by nature. Hosted by Rainhard (surf instructor) and Mimi (yoga, meditation, and sophrology teacher), and supported by a team of local instructors and staff, this holiday is both a human and cultural experience.
This is not a luxury program. It is a raw, simple, and authentic island experience. Your journey begins with your arrival at Virac Airport (VRC), where SOMAMI will welcome and bring you to the retreat location. After check-in and some time to settle in, you will gather for a welcome circle to connect, set intentions, and introduce the experience. Each day is designed to follow the natural rhythm of the ocean, tides, and weather conditions. Mornings often begin with meditation, breathwork, or gentle movement, followed by a surf session adapted to your level with guidance from certified instructors.
Throughout the program, you will experience daily yoga practices (Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin), as well as sophrology sessions to deepen body awareness, relaxation, and integration. Afternoons are a mix of rest, free time, and exploration. Depending on the conditions, you will organize activities such as waterfall visits, jungle hikes, coconut hill sunsets, and island hopping experiences. Evenings are slower and more introspective, with sunset sessions, workshops, sharing circles, or simply time to unwind, connect, and enjoy the simplicity of island life. Over the 10 days, you will have multiple surf sessions, opportunities for progression, and time to integrate both physically and mentally.
Some sessions may include guidance, feedback, or video support depending on conditions. The schedule may vary slightly from day to day to ensure the best surf conditions and overall experience, allowing for a balance between activity, rest, and spontaneous moments. All logistics are taken care of, so you simply arrive and experience. The program follows the rhythm of the ocean, tides, and weather. Activities may shift slightly to ensure the best experience and safety conditions.
