Both spots offer perfect conditions for beginners as well as for advanced riders to learn and practice this sport safely while having lots of fun. Embark on an unforgettable journey with SicilyKiteHoliday. Your experience includes six hours of expert wing foil lessons. Each lesson lasts 2 hours, of which 1 hours are with an instructor and the other 1 hour are for free practicing!
Please note that the timing of wing foil lessons is subject to the wind and weather conditions, ensuring optimal safety and learning conditions.
After thrilling sessions on the water, retreat to comfort with a four-night stay at a partner hostel or bed and breakfast (no breakfast included, instead access to a shared kitchen). Wing foiling
The six-hour wing foil course is led by expert instructors. You will be riding in Europe's biggest saltwater lagoon, with more shallow waters, or in the open sea, where more advanced riders can find heaven. It is perfect for both beginners and advanced riders. If you are new to wing foiling, you will start with a simple theory part, talking about wind and all the equipment set-up, then moving on with the practical part learning how to handle the wing first on land, and after starting on a SUP on the water, learning how to handle the wing while finding the balance on the board.
As soon as your instructor sees you comfortable with both the wing and board, you will keep practicing on an actual foil board, learning how to fly. For those who are already independent riders, the instructors will help you get even better and learn some new, cool moves. More advanced riders can have the joy of riding on the northern side of the lagoon in the open sea.

The closest airport is Trapani-Birgi, just 5 minutes from the accommodation, followed by Paermo Airport, about 1 hour away. SicilyKiteHoliday highly recommends checking Ryanair flights to Trapani for the smoothest arrival.
If you land in Palermo, look for the direct buses (Autoservizi Salemi) to Trapani-Birgi airport. They take less than an hour and are very affordable.
From Trapani airport, SicilyKiteHoliday can usually arrange your transfer themselves (for free), unless they are not on the water teaching. If not, the accommodation can provide transfer as well. In any case, they are always here to help you plan your arrival and make the journey easy and stress-free!
