Your home away from home during your stay with Shaka Surf Morocco will be the beautiful surf riad, based in the village of Tamraght, located just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and a five-minute walk to the local shops and cafes. The accommodation offers a wide range of room options (single, double, twin, triple, and quadruple) making it the perfect choice for solo travelers, friends, couples, and families.
The traditional Moroccan riad layout means that rooms are all based off a central courtyard surrounding a peaceful pool and garden. Two beautiful roof terraces offer you additional areas to relax and socialize, as well as great spots to watch the sun setting. All rooms are en-suite with bed linen, shower towels, and daily servicing provided. You will enjoy 15 surf breaks within 15 kilometers.
Shaka Surf Morocco offers clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. There is a central swimming pool, a ping pong table, and free Wi-Fi throughout the riad. Shaka Surf Morocco also offers the delicious surfer's breakfast buffet and tasty traditional Moroccan dinners.

What to expect
This intermediate surf package is ideal for surfers who already have some experience in the water and are confident in the unbroken green waves. Shaka Surf Morocco provides you with all the surf kit, lessons, and tailored feedback to help you perfect your surfing technique, becoming a stronger and more confident surfer.
The intermediate surfers travel to a range of local surf spots (beach breaks and point breaks). Shaka Surf Morocco's priority is to make sure you see an improvement in your surfing over the week and leave with some great personalised tips. They want to provide quality, not quantity, which is why they keep their group sizes to a maximum of six students per instructor.
What you will learn
These lessons build upon your current knowledge of surfing, which will be discussed with you on your first day of surfing. You will join the instructors in paddling out to the lineup, where the instructor's goal is to help you increase the speed and frequency of waves you catch, progress in your manoeuvres, including cutbacks and bottom turns, as well as develop your surfing style.
The onshore lessons combined with coaching in the water make sure you get the most time to devem you will have caught some rides to remember, developed your surfing style, and made some awesome new surf buddies.

Hassan Madi
Hassan is a local from Tamraght with over 15 years of surf experience as well as being ISA (International Surf Association) qualified and RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) certified. You couldn't be in safer hands in the water! He is known for his patience, support, and encouragement when teaching and also his cheeky smile. He is also in the know with all the best spots to eat and a pro at building beach bonfires!
Mohamed Boudad
Mohammed is one of their friendly, patient, and experienced surf coaches. He is ISA (International Surf Association) qualified and ILS (International Lifesaving Federation) certified. He is known for his patience, support, and encouragement when teaching and for always having a big smile.

Please book your flight to arrive at Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Shaka Surf Morocco will pick you up from the airport. The nearest airport is Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA), and from this airport it is a 50-minute drive to the village of Tamraght, where Shaka Surf Morocco is based.
Alternatively, Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) is roughly a three and a half hour drive and Essaouira-Mogador Airport (ESU) is a two and a half hour drive. If you choose to fly to Marrakech or Essaouira, you can either take a local bus to get to Shaka Surf Morocco, or Shaka Surf Morocco can help arrange a taxi transfer.
Arrival by bus
If you are already traveling around Morocco or are flying into Marrakech or Essaouira, the bus is the easiest and cheapest option to get to Shaka Surf Morocco.
