According to availability, Santa Cruz Surf Maroc hosts guests in two different surf houses. No matter which surf house you are located in, all rooms will have an ensuite bathroom. The surf villa is nestled in the hills of the friendly surfer village of Tamraght and is just a short walking distance away from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Since the life of a surfer is very simplistic. Santa Cruz Surf Maroc tried to aim for this in the design of the beautiful surf house.
Whether you are a solo traveler or coming with a family member or loved one, you will find your accommodation spacious enough to suit your needs. The rooms are spread over four floors, most with an ocean view. The other rooms overlook the garden. Relax, do some yoga, or simply look at the amazing sunsets at one of the two terraces.

Instructors
Badr Kessar
As the main instructor and co-owner, Badr spent his early days at the beach as a qualified lifeguard. This is also how he discovered his love for the ocean and his passion for surfing. Making you stand on the board is not his only mission, it is also fundamental for him that his students enjoy and relax because, for him, surfing is supposed to be fun!
Location
Agadir is a beautiful yet unique city that combines tradition, interesting history, and palm-lined boulevards. During the earthquake in 1960, only three buildings survived: a mosque, a movie theatre, and the kasbah. Agadir was rebuilt three kilometers south of the ancient city. The city becomes more popular every year due to its serene beaches, wide avenues, blooming gardens, and magnificent port. Before the earthquake, Agadir was also called "Santa Cruz" or "The Miami of Africa". Some of the activities in Agadir are Souk el Hadad, the Marina, the Kasbah, and the port.
Tamraght is a small village located just 15 kilometers north of Agadir and about five kilometers south of Taghazout. Together with Aourir, Tamraght is better known as Banana Village. Oued Tamraght separates the two villages, and the name Banana Village comes from the banana groves along the river. The two villages together share Banana Beach, which is great for beginner surfers. Tamraght is a peaceful Berber village nestled at the foothill of the mountain, but just a stone's throw away from the Atlantic, most famous among surfers.
Food
You will be served a daily breakfast included in the price. For lunch, Santa Cruz Surf Maroc offers a paid option at a daily rate of 3 EUR. Dinners are at your own expense. Moroccan cuisine is one of the most diversified and delicious cuisines in the world. While shopping in local markets, preparing food, cooking, serving, and eating any Moroccan dish, you get to feel the remarkable influence of Morocco's long history of colonizers and immigrants, who left their marks and fingerprints on the country.
The first inhabitants, the Berbers, had a big impact on dishes like tagine and couscous. The Arab invasion brought many new spices, nuts, dried fruits, and sweet and sour tastes. These new influences upgraded the tagines with some new combinations, such as dates and lamb, as one of the country's specialties today. The Moors introduced amazing olives, olive juice, and citrus fruits, including the sophisticated preserving technique.
During the Ottoman Empire, the nowadays so popular barbecue kebabs were introduced. Finally, the French left the big culture of cafes, pastries, and sweets. It goes without saying that eating a Moroccan dish is not just about eating, but much more than that. It is an experience of the rich history, a connection with the food, and, of course, a connection with the amazingly friendly Moroccan people.
