You will find that Rougey Lodge is the perfect place to chill out after surfing. There is a spacious lounge area with a wide screen television, X-Box, and Netflix. They offer free Wi-Fi throughout the premises.
There is a fully equipped guest kitchen with cooker, microwave, preparation / storage areas, multiple fridges, dining area, and free tea and coffee all day. There is also parking beside the lodge and plenty of storage space for boards, as well as a drying room for wetsuits.
Rougey Lodge is ideally located close to the beaches and also to the town center. Many of the rooms offer views of the ocean and main beach. It is run by local surfers so you will be able to get all the details you need on where and when to surf in Bundoran.

Rougey Lodge has a mixture of doubles, twins, triples, and quads. Every room has a private bathroom and shower ensuite.

Arrival days can be spread over the whole week, but it would be helpful if guests arrive at the weekends and have their lessons from Monday to Friday.
After a nice arrival day with a walk along the cliffs and through Bundoran, the surf lessons will start on Monday morning at 10:00. Everything is included: pick-up from the hostel, transfer to the best beach of the day, surf equipment, and qualified surf instructor.
After the surf lessons at lunchtime, guests can cook a delicious meal or go out for fish and chips. You can also relax in the afternoon at Rougey Lodge's chill-out area, or maybe go surfing again with passing dolphins on the beautiful Tullan Beach at sunset. In the evening, the group will have a barbecue together on the terrace.
Location
Rougey Lodge in the heart of Bundoran, five minutes to the nearest beach and three minutes to the nearest pub. It is not only well located, but also famous for its surfer vibe, friendliness, and cool atmosphere. A Simpsons supermarket is next door, while Phoenix Tavern is across the road.
Food
Rougey Lodge offers their guests a simple but delicious breakfast consisting of cornflakes, oatmeal, other cereals, toast with jam and butter, fruit, juice, and freshly brewed coffee and tea. They provide this healthy continental breakfast each morning to set you up for the day. It is plentiful and is served from 08:30 to 10:30.
If you prefer an Irish hot breakfast, there are many pubs and restaurants up the road that offer a full breakfast. In addition, the supermarket next door offers a wide range of extras and hot food to take away.
Cool cafes such as FOAM or Bullys and Gulls invite you to meet up with nice people and chill out in the afternoon. All bars and restaurants on the main street offer Irish food but international cuisine is also available. Many of the lodge's guests cook together at the hostel in their very well-equipped kitchen.

Bundoran is not only famous for its world-class surf spots, but also for its nightlife, where partying on the weekend is a big thing. The small town comes alive. Many pubs offer live music and fresh Guinness.
For those who prefer a quieter experience, there is the Glencar waterfall or the cliffs of Sliabh Liag. Breathtaking hiking tours will aslo bring you very close to the original Ireland.
