The surf house is an old fisherman’s cottage, restored and decorated in a surf, beach style. The house sleeps 12, in 4 large, comfortable bedrooms, 2 indoor bathrooms, and one outside bathroom, with a hot shower. The house is shared backpacker style with other guests, shared, communal living area, kitchen and dining area, a sunny chill out library room, a large deck overlooking the mangrove forests and various outside chill areas. Only sleeping 12 people makes this experience exclusive. The vibe is always chilled and there is always plenty of space for everyone to find a peaceful area to relax and take in the sounds of the bush and the ocean.
The surf house is, clean, bright, and airy with loads of character and is your cozy home from home. The rooms are serviced daily, and they provide fresh clean linen.
They have a covered outside dining area, and a massive deck, for incredible sunsets and stunning views over the indigenous forest, where they spend most of the nights relaxing and taking in the night sounds of the bush land.
The plot is spacious, with beautiful views and bird watching to enjoy over the mangrove swamps, coastal forests and farmlands or stroll through the banana, mango, and avo trees as well as the veg patch. Guests are welcome to pick fruits and veg.
Enjoy a hike through the mangrove forest, its incredibly special. They have secure onsite parking. They have a pack of friendly dogs on the property and a few cats, they are super duper friendly and just love the guests especially the kids. They like other dogs but they unfortunately do not allow more animals at the surf house.
