The house has three floors and a total of nine rooms, all of which have their own bathroom, Wi-Fi, storage space and comfortable beds. Some rooms even offer sea views. On the ground floor, there is a spacious common area with a chill-out zone, satellite TV, dining area, bathroom and Wi-Fi. It is perfect for relaxing, socializing or simply unwinding after a surfing session.

However, the real heart of the house is the roof. There are two terraces offering breathtaking views of the coast. Here you can watch the sunrise with a cup of tea, soak up the sun or do yoga in the open shala and stretch your body after surfing.

The hostel is a place for surfers, explorers, those seeking peace and quiet, and anyone who wants to live by the sea for a few days.

Program

Where surfing meets soul

Your surf holiday begins the moment you arrive in Taghazout. On check-in and check-out days there are no surf lessons, giving you time to settle in, explore the village or simply soak up the ocean views from our rooftop.

On all other days, it’s all about the waves. Each morning starts with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the session ahead. The surf team decides the best time and spot for your lesson based on tides and conditions, usually in the morning. Once they pick you up, you’ll head to the beach that fits your level best. With spot search, getting ready and the session itself, you’ll be out for 3–4 hours, including two full hours of coaching in the water. Expect plenty of practice, personalized feedback and the stoke of catching wave after wave.

After surfing, you’ll get back to the hostel for some well-deserved downtime. Depending on the day, lunch will either be served in the hostel or taken as a lunch pack to the beach. The afternoons are yours to relax on the rooftop, wander the streets of Taghazout or join one of the optional yoga sessions offered both in the morning and in the evening to stretch and recharge.

To make your stay even more memorable, your package also includes a sandboarding trip in the Little Sahara and a visit to the bustling Souk El Had in Agadir. When these adventures happen will be planned together upon arrival, so the flow of the week feels relaxed and natural.

Evenings bring everyone together again for a freshly cooked dinner in the hostel, the perfect moment to share stories, laugh, and feel part of the surf family.

Whether you want to catch your first green wave or refine your style, Poki Surf Morocco is here for you. You will progress with confidence, surf the best spots for your level and feel at home in a place where good vibes, good food and salty hair are part of everyday life.

Included excursions

Visit to Souk El Had

A trip to Souk El Had in Agadir is a true dive into Moroccan culture. Wandering through the colorful maze of stalls filled with spices, handcrafted art, traditional clothing, and fresh local produce, you immediately feel the vibrant rhythm of everyday life. As one of the largest markets in Morocco, the Souk is the perfect place to soak up authentic impressions, discover unique treasures, and let yourself be carried away by its lively atmosphere.

Sandboarding in the desert

Sandboarding takes you from the ocean to an entirely different kind of landscape: endless golden dunes, magical light, and an atmosphere of pure silence. Instead of surfing waves, you’ll be gliding down soft desert sand, an experience that brings the same thrill but with a completely new twist. Between the rides, there’s plenty of time to take in the breathtaking scenery and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It’s an adventure that perfectly complements your surf holiday and leaves memories you’ll never forget.

Location

Taghazout is a small coastal village north of Agadir, known for its surfing culture, perfect waves and relaxed atmosphere.

Traditional houses nestle against the hillside, narrow streets lead down to the sea, and the call to prayer mingles with the sound of the waves. Life here follows the rhythm of the tides and sunsets.

Once a quiet fishing village, Taghazout has become a hub for surfers from all over the world, yet it has not lost its soul. Here you will find local cafés serving fresh tagine and mint tea, surf shops full of wax and stories, and rooftop terraces where travellers gather after long days in the water.

The coast around Taghazout is full of legendary surf spots: from beginner-friendly beach breaks like Panorama and Banana Beach to world famous Spots like Anchor Point, Killer Point and Boilers.

Away from the water, a region full of contrasts awaits you. The scent of spices in Agadir's Souk El Had, golden dunes in the Little Sahara, mountains behind you, the sea in front of you. Taghazout is the ideal starting point for discovering Morocco's wild beauty and simply relaxing after your surf lessons.
