The apartment building is located in a quiet yet central part of Morro Jable, just 200 meters from the beach. Everything is within easy reach, whether it’s a small grocery store offering local products, a cozy tapas bar, or the town square where local bands often perform and cultural events are held. You can also relax at the nearby city beach, which is framed by a picturesque cliff, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or stand-up paddling after your surf session.
Each apartment in the building has been recently renovated and includes a separate bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and living room. Free Wi-Fi is available, so you can easily connect with other surf camp participants while still enjoying your own space.
Program
The camp's apartments are quiet and centrally located, only 200 meters from the beach. They are fully equipped and offer a rooftop pool with breathtaking ocean views. Surf lessons are flexibly held on the east, south, or west coasts, depending on where the best waves are for the students' skill levels. This allows participants to surf under optimal conditions and continuously improve their abilities.
After surf lessons, there are a variety of activities aimed at fostering a sense of community and creating new friendships. Highlights include sandboarding on the large dunes, skateboarding, and beach BBQs. These experiences offer the opportunity to meet other surfers who share the same passion for the sea and surfing.

Start your day with a relaxing morning. Either prepare breakfast in your apartment or head to a local café or tapas bar for a light meal. For those staying in the self-catering apartments, the nearby grocery stores offer fresh regional fruits and vegetables, perfect for a healthy start.
Meet at the Surf School Office
Just 30 meters from your accommodation, the surf school office is where you’ll meet your instructors and fellow surfers. After checking in, you’ll prepare for your surf session with all equipment provided (surfboard, wetsuit, and lycra).
Surf Lesson (4.5 hours)
Head to the best beach for the day’s surf conditions, guided by 4WD to either the east, south, or west coast of the island. The lesson includes theoretical instruction and practical exercises, all tailored to your skill level. Whether you're catching your first wave or refining your technique, our experienced, licensed instructors are there to help.
Lunch and Relaxation
After a fun-filled surf session, enjoy a leisurely lunch. Morro Jable offers plenty of affordable restaurants, including tapas bars where fresh fish dishes start at just 10 EUR. Alternatively, grab some ingredients from the supermarket or local market hall to prepare a meal in your apartment.

Victor Sanz
Victor is the heach coach of OTRO MODO Surfschool. He is from Asturias in Spain and has a level 2 teaching license. He is the teacher for our beginner surf students as well as for our advanced surf students. As the surf schools head coach he also supervisor for our beach team. He speaks Spanish and English.
Derek Besley
Derek is from the UK but grew up in South Africa. He is an very open minded and warm and friendly person. Beside of our "normal" surf students he teaches our kids and families. He is a licensed surfer and an experienced surf coach

1. Bus Company MAXORATA
MAXORATA offers transfers from the airport to hotels and accommodations across the island.
After arriving, visit the organizer’s counter and request a transfer to Morro Jable or Jandía.
Price: 14 EUR. Buses operate as long as flights are landing.
You can also request the closest stop, which is “Natalies Morro Jable.”
2. Public Bus
- Take Line 10 directly to Morro Jable or Line 3 to Puerto del Rosario, then Line 1 to Morro Jable.
- Price: 11 EUR. Journey time: around 1 hour 30 minutes.
