The surf house you will be staying in has air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms. There is a common kitchen, a dining area, a balcony for yoga and fitness activities, and a relaxing garden. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to the center of town and is just a few minutes walk from the beach with dozens of great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and everything else you could need.
Program
This surf camp offers a week full of waves, fun, and learning in paradise. It is designed for surfers of every level from beginners looking to learn the foundation of surf to intermediate and advanced surfers looking to improve their skills and evolve.
Once you arrive at the property, you get an introduction to the program and all the activities to do. These days will be focused on you, your well-being, practicing your surf skills, and improving your performance in the ocean but also having fun and discovering the Pura Vida way of life. A typical surfing day goes from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Matias Zavala
Matias is an incredible surf teacher and will guide you through both the science and soul of surfing. You will be able to catch some great waves on your first try during your visit to Costa Rica. By far, he is one of the best instructors in explaining the theory and practical parameters of surfing. Truly top-notch. His passion for surfing leads him to want to share his knowledge acquired over time.

Mai Ke Kai Surf House is located around 600 meters from Tamarindo Beach in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. Close to the property, there is a pizza place, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and an ATM, three blocks away.
