This three-night, four-day Tofino Surf Retreat blends progressive coaching, full coastal immersion, and the comfort of Long Beach Lodge Resort.
This retreat is more than just catching waves. It’s about exploring the coast, sharpening your mechanics, and embracing the unique spirit of surfing on Canada’s Wild West Coast. Whether you’re looking to refine your flow or push your boundaries in cold-water conditions, this will be your chance to elevate your surfing in a supportive, expert-led environment.
Each day of the retreat will be designed to balance surfing, skill-building, and relaxation. Start each morning with a delicious breakfast before diving into a coaching session with video analysis to refine your technique, followed by guided surf sessions at iconic Cox Bay.
Between sessions, enjoy free time to explore the beach, or book optional spa treatments or yoga sessions for an additional charge. Evenings will be perfect for sunset surf sessions, connecting with fellow guests, or relaxing in your rainforest cottage or lodge room.
The retreat will conclude with a special final dinner together, celebrating your surf adventures and the coastal experience.

Chance is Long Beach Lodge Resort's Surf Club Manager and Director of Recreation and Culture, and he’s been part of the Lodge for 15 years. Known for his uplifting energy and supportive nature, Chance loves meeting new people and hearing their stories - whether from guests or teammates. He leads the Surf Club with the goal of making every visit unforgettable, whether you’re catching your first wave, renting gear, or grabbing a bite. He even met his wife there, making the Lodge not just a workplace, but part of his story too.
