In Line up Fuerteventura surf camp, they choose to teach smaller groups; a maximum of 6-8 people per group to optimize customer care and to improve attention to detail and quality when coaching. From complete beginners to intermediate, they will find the proper spot for you to progress.
The lessons roughly last four hours depending on travel time. Everyone can surf as much as they please. 1h30 hours in the water are usually enough to tire even the toughest individuals, so water and food breaks in between the lesson are welcome.
You will start the lesson on the beach with a brief introduction to get to know each individuals level and goals for that session. The intro is followed by an extensive stretch to improve stamina and lower the chance of muscle and ligament related injuries. The instructors will then explain the essential safety precautions that everyone must be aware of when surfing.
The safety talk varies from spot to spot and relates directly to the conditions that day. Each surfer will receive personalized hands-on tuition both on the beach and in the water to maximize each person's learning potential. By adopting this approach, Line Up's students often surpass their goals and in turn get super stoked on surfing.
Please take note the lessons are still in a mixed group (not private, although Line Up Fuerteventura can arrange this on request and with an adapted price), but the group will be kept smaller if restrictions demand it so the team can guarantee to keep a safe distance in the school vans , and on the beach.
Children policy
Line Up Fuerteventura do not accept any children in the camp, unless they are tall and heavy enough to participate in the classes. This is not a matter of age, but a matter of physical strength.
