Accommodation

You will feel right at home in LearnKiteboardingNow's new, spacious surfers' sheds. Furnished with real beds, a bedside table with a reading lamp, and a socket to charge your mobile phone or tablet, and with enough space for your luggage, you can relax here ideally after a long day at the sea. The lounge in the station building becomes your living room and in the barbecue lounge, you will find a cozy spot in the fresh air. In addition to free drinks with meals, they always have non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (cola, soda, beer, and wine) in stock at fair prices.

Program

There are two days of kitesurfing course and two days of free practice with LearnKiteboardingNow's material pool including overnight stays and all necessary material, full board, and VDWS theory seminar and kite license. In this four-day kitesurf camp, beginners are welcome. The kite surfing courses are for beginners. In groups of a maximum of four participants, adapted to the respective level, they focus on your progress.

Arrival is on your own and should be done on Monday by around 9:30 a.m. Alternatively, you can arrive the evening before. You can book an additional night when you register. Departure on Sunday can be scheduled flexibly depending on the wind. You are also welcome to extend your stay with them spontaneously, provided that they still have free places. They speak German, English, and Dutch. Course language depends on the composition of the group. All kitesurfing equipment is of course included in the price, i.e. kite, bar, board, wetsuit, harness, and leash.

At the beginning of the kite camp, you will receive a wetsuit and the harness including the leash, which you will keep in your care for the duration of the camp so that they do not have to put everything together for you every day. You only have to bring your swimsuit or trunks, towels, and bed linen, i.e. a sheet (90x200 centimeters), a pillow, a duvet, or a sleeping bag. At 10:00 a.m., you start handing out materials.

For those who did not arrive the day before, they will start at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome round. LearnKiteboardingNow will show you the camp and you can move into your accommodation. Accompanying persons are welcome. Accommodation and meals can also be booked individually with LearnKiteboardingNow. Kitesurfing equipment can of course also be rented individually. It happens that there is no wind.

On the one hand, they have a voucher regulation for this (you will receive all content that cannot be carried out as a voucher so that you can come back at any time and catch up on the course or practice days). On the other hand, there is always something to experience (they offer surfing courses and SUP courses for camp participants at reduced rates, the surrounding beaches invite you to chill and be active, and bicycles can be rented to explore the area).

  • Two four-hour beginner trainings (maximum of four students per teacher)
  • Two three-hour supervised kiting (maximum of two students per kite set)
  • VDWS theory seminar with test (approximately two hours)
