Latas Surf House
The largest space in Latas Surf is a huge house surrounded by a very big garden, right next to Loredo Beach, an idyllic spot to surf. The house has a capacity to accommodate up to 80 people in the shared rooms. Live a unique surfing experience in the Latas Surf School surf camps, sharing experiences with people from all over the world. Enjoy a great atmosphere in which surfing is a common passion.
The surf house offers a surf bar, yoga, healthy food, a skate (mini ramp), volleyball, gym, slackline, ping-pong, concerts, parties, boat parties, and a lot of other activities to enjoy the "real surf culture."
Program
There will be six surf lessons (120 minutes) included in the price. Latas Surf offers the option for customers to rent surf equipment (board and wetsuit) in the afternoon for an additional 10 EUR. This option is only available to those who will book surf lessons in the morning. If they do not book surf lessons, they will be charged the regular rental price.
Also, Latas Surf does not have a weekly theory class. Instead, every day on the beach before the surf lesson in the water, they review theory and do warm-up and mobility exercises for surfing. On the first day, the theory will be more extensive as Latas Surf will teach everything you need to know from scratch.
Materials
Latas Surf provides a variety of different wetsuits and boards to suit your wishes, level, and the time of year. All of the material is of the highest quality and renewed frequently.
Instructors
All of the surf instructors have the certifications in ISA, TD1, and TD2.
Location
Latas Surf is located in north of Spain, within the province of Cantabria. You can find Latas Surf between Somo and Loredo, two renowned places in the world of surfing. The beach is 250 meters away from the surf camp and offers more than 300 days of surfable waves for all different levels, from taking your first wave to enjoying more complex waves to help improve your skills.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at either Santander Airport (SDR) or Bilbao Airport (BIO). The airport of Santander (SDR) is located just 20 minutes away while Bilbao Airport (BIO) is 50 minutes away from Latas Surf. If you will arrive at these airports, you can book your transfer for an additional cost through Latas Surf and someone will pick you up safely at the arrivals door.
Arrival by boat
A local company, “Los Reginas,” runs boats every half an hour from Santander to Somo.
Arrival by train
From the train station in Santander, it is a five-minute walk to get to the venue. You can also book a transfer service to pick you up straight at the train station.
