Are you ready to ride the waves, feel the salty breeze and experience the thrill of kitesurfing? Look no further. KiteLife Watersports exclusive Kitesurfing Adventure Camp awaits you in the vibrant coastal city of Essaouira, Morocco. In addition to enjoying kitesurfing, you will have the opportunity to explore a World Heritage city, participate in group activities and immerse yourself in the rich Moroccan culture while meeting people from all over the world.
Except on arrival and departure day, KiteLife Watersports will enjoy as a group daily kitesurfing lessons on one of Essaouira’s beaches, always according to wind and water conditions. The earliest start time is 9:30 am and the latest start time for the classes is 4:30 pm. A class lasts 2 hours and can be extended for an additional charge by full hours in case no student is scheduled afterwards.
KiteLife Watersports always organizes voluntary group activities with its students. These can include cooking together, a walking food tour through Essaouira, hikes or surf trips when there is no wind, discovering the waterfalls, visiting the souks, camel or horseback rides, quad tours, yoga classes, or any other activity guests would enjoy. This is why KiteLife Watersports is popular with solo travelers, as it quickly connects guests with like-minded people – both travelers and locals.
Where to kitesurf in Essaouira?
You will find two kite spots that both offer shallow water. The most known is Essaouira bay: the half-moon shaped main tourist beach that's only a few minutes walking from the old town. It offers a side-on-shore breeze pretty much the whole year. On the north side of the bay, the wind tends to come very unclean. The more south you go, the cleaner the wind gets. Which brings you to Ord Omar, locally known as the "Second Beach," less than 10 minutes by car from the bay. Here you won't find tourists besides watersport enthusiasts. It's their favorite spot around Essaouira!
Instructors
Ariane Müller
Ariane is German-Spanish, kitesurfer since 2017 and lives between Spain and Morocco. She's teaching Surfing and Kitesurfing in fluent German, Spanish, English and as well in French with a B2 level.
Moncef Hounsali
Moncef was born and grew up in magical Essaouira. His watersport journey started with surfing, windsurfing, was leading to kitesurfing right when this sport started and includes wingfoiling as well. He was competing in kitesurfing and teaching it in several countries and continents. Moncef speaks fluently Arabic, French and English. He learns currently Spanish as well to be in the future able to give classes as well in Spanish.

KiteLife Watersports is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Essaouira that's a few minutes from the beach on foot. Supermarkets, bars, and restaurants are close by.
