Program
There are two hours of group kitesurfing per day. The 10 hours for this experience can be split across the seven days. For example, you can have five days of kitesurfing with two hours each day, while the remaining days can be free days for rest. All skill levels are welcome.
- Meet and safety briefing: Learn wind, weather, and basic safety rules
- Gear introduction: Understand the kite, bar, harness, and safety leash
- Set up the kite: Practice preparing and checking equipment
- Flying the kite on land: Learn basic control including launch, steer, and land
- Safety systems practice: Use quick release and emergency stop
- Body dragging in water: Control the kite while moving in water
- Board basics: Learn how to position and carry the board
- First water start attempt: Try standing on the board and riding briefly

Instructors
Moncef Hounsali
Moncef was born and grew up in magical Essaouira. His watersport journey started with surfing, windsurfing, was leading to kitesurfing right when this sport started and includes wingfoiling as well. He was competing in kitesurfing and teaching it in several countries and continents. Moncef speaks fluently Arabic, French and English. He learns currently Spanish as well to be in the future able to give classes as well in Spanish.
Mouad Garir
Mouad is an experienced kitesurfing instructor with 10 years of teaching in Morocco. He helps beginners and advanced riders improve their skills with safe, simple, and personalized lessons. Known for his patience, professionalism, and passion for the sport, Mouad is dedicated to helping every student enjoy kitesurfing and build confidence on the water.
Location
This experience will take place in Essaouira, Morocco. The meeting point is directly in front of the beach, right in the Atlas Residence. KiteLife is a boutique watersport school that does not just teach a sport and say bye to you - they will help you immerse in the local culture and support in all necessary preparations of your trip before you leave home. They always pick up their clients from the airport and the hotel and take them to more than just the main beach of Essaouira.
