"Lovely humbley run business "

The location of the surf hostel is great, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Surf spots are moveable and with transport provided there is the added bonus of seeing the area. Lovely friendly instructors who truly invest an interest in teaching and helping you. Very good for beginner to intermediate surfers

"Excellent stay"

The staff were amazing. At the hostel the staff were lovely, really kinda and accommodating.

The surf instructors were great, with only two surfers per guide you get good tuition and help catching the waves. The video analysis after the session is also really valuable to learning and improving.

Location is pretty good, with cafes, bars and shops only minutes away. And the beach is a 15/20min walk or 5min drive.

I had the best time and would definitely recommend in da surf to anyone.

"Fantastic! "

We loved our stay at the surf Camp! We had three days with surfing, and the instructors made us feel safe in the water and provided a lot of useful feedback. The room was nice and clean, the staff was nice and welcoming and we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

"Fun hostel and good surf away from the busiest parts of Bali"

The communal spaces are relaxed and friendly; I reclined on the outdoor sofas and in the hammock a lot of the time, drinking coffee and rejuvenating after spending my energy surfing each morning. The Balinese coffee was tasty and I drank a few cups each day, especially in the morning before surfing and then again after while eating the tasty breakfast (there are a few options but I chose nasi goreng and a fruit bowl everyday because it was so good). There was a Bali balance board which was fun to use and a small dog to pet. There is a library upstairs which I didn't use so much but it did include Lonely Planet's guide to Indonesia which is helpful.

The surf instruction was good. The video footage after each lesson was most helpful, as what you imagine/feel you do might be nothing like what you actually do. Canggu waves (Old Man's and Kedungu) were better for me than Kuta. Indra (the surf instructor and co-owner) drove us all to the surf spots and back each day. They also hang out a bit after the lesson to chat.

We stayed at Indasurf for seven nights in the pool villa. Everything was clean, the room very nice and the owners of the villa were the most friendly personnel we met on our entire Bali trip. The surfing lessons were great: positive atmosphere, good teaching and also thanks to the video analysis we learned a lot. The most important strength of this place is that the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is nothing to complain about. Fun surfing, fair pricing and the most welcoming and friendly people you can imagine!

This is one of the genuine gems in Canggu. People are amazing and show how the surfing is done. Taking several lessons in different places, I can say that here is simply the finest place to experience Indo surf.

Theoretical lesson of one and a half hour was very interesting, you'll know all the things about waves, safety, the rules in the water, how to react in particular situation, recognize the different kind of waves, and how to avoid dangerous situation. You could have surf lessons with video recording to debrief after and understand what you've done good and wrong. Teacher has more than15 years of experience, very calm and good to explain you what you have to do. Perfect english, born in California so the communication is very great!

Awesome place to stay! Came back for the third time now. It feels a bit like home. Super nice staff, great rooms, close surf, always good people around and enough bintang. Try the banana pancakes!
