"Amazing experience! "

We loved the way the lesson are structured and the instructors, Indra and Juss were just amazing! We have learned plenty of valuable things. Accommodation was great as well, we had a double room with bathroom and it was really comfy. Honestly 10/10. 😊🫶🏻

"Welcoming, peaceful and the perfect vibe. "

Such a brilliant experience with such warm, welcoming people. So happy I chose this place.

Good attention to detail from people who care make it such a lovely stay.

Great food, great surf spots, great advice and more smiles in 5 days than I have seen in the last year back at home…

"The people make the experience "

The instructors were not only amazing surfers and coaches but also felt like your best mates afterwards playing guitar together and chilling in the hostel which is hands down the nicest hostel I’ve stayed at. I’ve been surfing a long time and the review sessions afterwards were amazing for not only intermediate surfers but was great to watch the beginners review and pick up some tips and tricks from that. The food in the hostel was better than anywhere I ate at a restaurant in the area. The staff all knew and used your name when talking to you and made you feel at home. Huge thanks Superman, sunny, Pino and the rest of the crew. Seki uce

Indra is a very supportive and friendly surf instructor. I was so nervous in the beginning of the lesson, but with his way of teaching during three days lesson, I could overcome my fear and got my self confidence to be on the surfboard. He pushed me everyday which I really thanked for and luckily I have that 'can do' attitude :) The video session was really great! A bit confronting in the beginning (hahaha..) but it helped us a lot to improve our technique. I really had a great time with Indra, Surya "sunny" and the rest of In Da Surf crews while enjoying Canggu swells. Shout out to Cali the 'boss' :) and big thanks to all mbaks for keeping the place clean and tidy and for delicious breakfast :) Thank you so much for making me feel at home during my stay.

"Very expensive and not quality class "

The accommodation is nice. But someone in the room was sick so.. She was coughing every 2 minutes. I needed some sleep so I went downstairs to ask if I could change rooms as there were empty beds in the other rooms but there was no one at reception. It's not really a friendly place. There are not a lot of activities. It's more for nomad digital who need a quite place to work.

"Charles’s review"

Everything was really well organized, the instructors have a really good approach for learners, they are really patient and helpful. It’s also really cool that you get filmed, and get shown on the TV after what you do good and what you need to correct!

And the hostel was more than awesome too. The staff take really good care of the campers. Oh and, you get the best smoothie bowl for breakfast there too ;) I definitely recommend booking with them!

"A very nice surfcamp, where only your improvement counts. "

The surf camp is well kept after and the surf coaches have a very high level. They are constantly there to push you. Further it is well organized and very often you have your own surf coach or you are sharing him with another surfer.

"friendly staff, personalised surf advice"

Different surf location depending on level, small surf group, human size, walking distance to batu balong beach, restaurant or shopping areas, airco dorms, easy to meet people...

"Very nice and chill stay"

The place is very clean and chill. it is a very cosy hostel with a friendly stuff. It is a walk to the beach but at the same time you gain quiet and peace at night. Surfing lessons were great! you have one or two ppl per instructor which is amazing. In Europe it's almost never the case specially for that price.

"Excellent staff and good value for money "

All the staff was very friendly and thoughtful and they really made a great atmosphere for making friends and surfing. I had a chance to surf with Indra and Surya and both showed to be good intructors. After every surf session they explained how I could improve my surfing and I really feel it was accurate comments. During some sesions I had my video taken which was also fun and informative to watch it. The board set was also quite wide having different sizes and shapes so I could find the most suitable for me. The accommodation of Surfers House is very simple with wooden bunk beds and no hot shower, but the AC worked very well and the breakfast was also good. Other staff like Kade, Setya, Irfun and Wellsend were friendly and attentive. Already missed them all.

"Excellent Camp"

Excellent location for surfing. Nice friendly people.

The lessons were perfect and the instructors were very helpful. I joined 3 days/ 3 lessons and got a good results out of the course. The video analysis was an excellent chance to see my mistakes. Also, the theory was very helpful to understand the types of waves and how to deal with it. I would recommend everyone to try In Da Surf for sure.

"Good package for first timers"

Though you could get a better price by signing up for accommodations & surf lessons individually (from the same place), as a first timer it was indeed more convenient to have it planned out for you - however if your stamina isn't good, you should consider having your lessons spaced out.

Accommodations were good, toilet was better than expected, clean & neat.

Staff were helpful and speaks english.

Transport to & fro from beach, rashguard & surfboard were all provided for. Managed to surf & stand on the board since the first day after instruction & assistance from coach which was great.

Surfing instructor was quite disappointing though, very distracted & does not stay close to you like other instructors

"Amazing place"

The atmosphere. I felt like home the entire stay with clean housing, perfect location, and friendly & caring people around. I also enjoyed the evening events hosted at the surf house (outdoor movie night, BBQ).

I loved that we were scheduled for 1 surfing sessions a day and were aloud to borrow a board as much as we wanted for the rest of the day.

"Amazing camp, progressed tons! "

This surf camp was amazing. It exceeding my expectations. To start, the rooms are clean and spacious with only 4 beds. Each has an ensuite bathroom. The rooms and bathroom are cleaned daily, the entire property is very clean and tidy. The staff at the surf house are really lovely. They work hard to address each guest by their first name which I thought was a really nice touch. The surfing was also great. Transport is included to the surf locations which allows you to see some of the rice fields and surrounding area. The surf guides were interested in seeing you progress. They had feedback after each wave on how to improve. They were kind and caring and made sure you were safe and taken care of in the water. The video analysis was also helpful. After the surf you watch the video and the guides give feedback on how to improve for the next day. I was supposed to stay 1 week and ended up staying for 4, the atmosphere at the surfer house was too good to leave! Thanks Indra, Wito, and Surya!

"Great and friendly instructors and lovely staff"

The instructors made me feel safe in the water even when it was my first time surfing. The staff is really nice and want all the best for you. The hostel is close to the main street in canggu with restaurants everywhere. Good beds with curtains around them, and beautiful garden + surroundings! Loved it here

+ the included breakfast is really good and really big

"Lovely humbley run business "

The location of the surf hostel is great, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Surf spots are moveable and with transport provided there is the added bonus of seeing the area. Lovely friendly instructors who truly invest an interest in teaching and helping you. Very good for beginner to intermediate surfers

"Excellent stay"

The staff were amazing. At the hostel the staff were lovely, really kinda and accommodating.

The surf instructors were great, with only two surfers per guide you get good tuition and help catching the waves. The video analysis after the session is also really valuable to learning and improving.

Location is pretty good, with cafes, bars and shops only minutes away. And the beach is a 15/20min walk or 5min drive.

I had the best time and would definitely recommend in da surf to anyone.

"Fun hostel and good surf away from the busiest parts of Bali"

The communal spaces are relaxed and friendly; I reclined on the outdoor sofas and in the hammock a lot of the time, drinking coffee and rejuvenating after spending my energy surfing each morning. The Balinese coffee was tasty and I drank a few cups each day, especially in the morning before surfing and then again after while eating the tasty breakfast (there are a few options but I chose nasi goreng and a fruit bowl everyday because it was so good). There was a Bali balance board which was fun to use and a small dog to pet. There is a library upstairs which I didn't use so much but it did include Lonely Planet's guide to Indonesia which is helpful.

The surf instruction was good. The video footage after each lesson was most helpful, as what you imagine/feel you do might be nothing like what you actually do. Canggu waves (Old Man's and Kedungu) were better for me than Kuta. Indra (the surf instructor and co-owner) drove us all to the surf spots and back each day. They also hang out a bit after the lesson to chat.
