During this surf camp, you will be accommodated at Cumbuco Guesthouse, which is a great place to stay for many different reasons. If you like to cook, you can use the kitchen or the barbecue place to have a grilled fresh fish or famous Brazilian steaks. Or, you can just relax on the windy veranda in a nice and comfortable hammock.
All rooms are equipped with comfortable large beds and modern amenities, providing you with the necessary comfort you all appreciate. With large balconies and hammocks, rooms are ideal for relaxing with your favorite novel in the tranquility of a tropical garden, full of fragrant flowers.
Each room has its own bathroom with hot shower, fresh towels, and soap. All rooms are cleaned daily and a laundry service is available as well. In front of the rooms, there is quite some space to wash and clean your kites.
Other facilities include a fridge and mini bar, safety deposit box (except for the small single room), fan and mosquito nets, balcony (except for the small single room), and hairdryer on request.
As an extended service to the guests bringing their own laptops, Cumbuco Guesthouse offers wireless internet access. Sit on the veranda or relax in one of the hammocks and cruise the world wide web for free.
Program
In Cumbuco, you can kite almost every day of the year. The best months are from June until January, when the wind blows almost every day. This makes Cumbuco to one of the best spots in the world to learn to kitesurf. Cumbuco Guesthouse offers you a secured way of learning how to kitesurf.
Cumbuco Guesthouse is a small kite school where you can learn in a small group with a maximum of two students for one instructor. For sure, you will learn faster this way. After 10 hours, you will be riding on the board. You will be trained according to the IKO training standards and by the end of the course, all students will receive a discount if they are going to rent equipment for further improvement.
All the staff is very safety conscious and is trained according to strict standards. A qualified instructor will always be with you and all of the kites will be equipped with safety systems. As a student, you will always be wearing a helmet and a floatation vest for increased safety.

Arrival by bus
From Pinto Martins - Fortaleza International Airport (FOR), it is more difficult to go to Cumbuco and you can expect to change the bus two or three times. The ride will last two to three hours and will cost about 10 to 20 BRL. Hotel & Pousada Cumbuco Guesthouse does not recommend you to take the bus because it is a long and exhausting ride in the dark.
