Program
Global Surf Camp & School offers the students all the quality, comfort, and safety necessary to practice surfing and bodyboarding, no matter how old they are. Everyone can attend the classes, from beginners who have never surfed to the surfer who wants to improve himself or feel safer while practicing.
Each surf instructor is monitoring a maximum of six to eight surfers to ensure maximum attention to each surfer. Being safe is a priority so the students will never be placed in dangerous situations. The instructors are well-experienced surfers who are all certified by the Portuguese Surf Federation, an organization that regulates surf schools, instructors, and championships. After signing up for a surf lesson, you will be covered by a sports insurance.
The surf lessons which have a duration of approximately one hour and thirty minutes will always be scheduled one day before the course starts. The lessons start with a warm-up and some stretching exercises. Afterward, you continue with some theoretical instructions appropriate to the state of knowledge of each surfer before going into the water.
Location
Praia da Areia Branca is a small village located on the Portuguese Silver Coast between Lourinhã and Peniche. Despite the fact that Praia da Areia Branca is a really small village, it has a well-balanced infrastructure. You can find bars, cafes, restaurants, two small grocery stores, a pharmacy, and an ATM. The surf center is located a few meters from the beach. You are always so close to watching the waves.
At the beach, you can find cafes, bars, and restaurants where you can watch the sunset or have some fun at night. You will also find many other services such as supermarkets, bakeries, surf shops, and everything you need for your day-to-day. For more specific needs such as banks or government identities, you can go to the town of Lourinhã.

Gastronomy
Gastronomically speaking, Portugal has reputable towns that offer many good restaurants whose specialty is the fresh fish and seafood confection. This confection was due to its important fishing port and its culture closely tied to the sea.
The Berlengas
There is a small island called the Berlengas, a UNESCO World Heritage for biodiversity. The Berlengas has several species, from plants, reptiles, and fishes that only procreate there. There is also a seventeenth-century fortress and some caves that you can visit in yachts or even with diving.
Visit cultural and historical sites
You can find innumerable cultural and historical monuments as the sixteenth-century Fortress of Peniche used as a prison during the Salazar regime. It is now transformed into an archeology museum and local crafts incorporating the old prison cells and solitary chambers. The Nossa Senhora dos Remédios chapel and cape Carvoeiro are other recommended sites to visit. This cape is located on the western edge of the Portuguese coast.

Arrival by bus
In general, to reach Praia Areia Branca from Lisbon by bus, you should take the subway on the red line towards Sao Sebastião. There, you have to change to the blue line towards Sete Rios or Jardim Zoológico. At Jardim Zoológico, you get out the subway and get the bus from the company named Expresso, the one that comes to Praia da Areia Branca.
If you are from Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), you can pick a taxi to the main bus station called Campo Grande. The price of the taxi ride is about 8 EUR. From there, you can take the bus to the Peniche direction with the bus company called Rodo Tejo. The line is called Rapid Azul.
