Myself and two friends attended the May 2017 yoga retreat and it was more than we could have ever expected! The staff, accommodation and food were amazing! A road from the ocean and 10 minutes from the country side jungle, it was the perfect location. Tamara, Jackson, and Andres were all so helpful & made the trip so enjoyable.

I don't think I could ever put into words what a wonderful experience I had doing a yoga/surf retreat at Casa del Sol! Tamara, the staff, my fellow yogis were all amazing. The food was delicious, the location was great, and I have so many memories from my time there that I will cherish forever! Thank you, Casa del Sol!

I completed my 200hr teacher training with Cheryl Oliver in November 2016 and had an incredible experience. Cheryl is extremely knowledgeable and it is evident that she has been doing yoga teacher training for years. Although the course is very intensive, at no point did I feel overwhelmed. Cheryl was very attentive to how every student was feeling and continually checked in with us throughout the duration of the course. To add to the experience, Casa del Sol provided a safe haven for all of us. They have friendly staff, a beautiful studio, and a location that cannot be beat. The staff continually planned fun activities for everyone and were able to provide impeccable service around the clock. On top of all of this, three different chefs prepared delicious vegetarian meals daily. I would recommend any teacher trainings taught by Cheryl, but the location of Casa del Sol gives the course a little extra something!

I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Montanita. Cheryl Oliver is simply the best. She is completely dedicated to you as a student and to the history of yoga. She has such a depth of knowledge and such incredible passion that it's impossible to not love your training.

Casa del Sol is great. DELICIOUS food everyday. A beach at your doorstep. Good service.

I can not recommend Yoga Montanita highly enough!

I did my 200 hour yoga teacher training in June 2016 in beautiful Montañita with Cheryl and her crew ;). I actually decided spontaneously to do a yoga teacher training when I was backpacking South America and coincidently (or fatefully) found this camp. I didn't know what was going to expect me, but if I had expectations, these would have been surpassed. Everything was on point. Cheryl as an inspiring and wonderful teacher (as well as Matt and Carlos - the other two teachers), casa del sol with amazing people all around. You instantly feel welcome and home. And last, but not least: the food was just amazing! Three chefs preparing healthy and awesome tasting food every day. I can totally recommend and I am planning on coming back for my next 300 hours :)

I did my first 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Casa de Sol in Montanita, with Cheryl Oliver and her team from Arizona. And it was everything I had been hoping for and more! The facilities in the hostel and yoga studio was amazing and everything worked really well, ex lunch was served just as we ended class and was always different and delicious. The group of teachers and setup of schedule was great! Even though it was hard work, it was amazing! Before doing the course, I didn't think I was going to teach afterwards but just improving my own yoga practice, but during the training I got so enthusiastic that I can't wait to teach and share all the things I have learned. And personally it also changed my view on many things in life.
