Hostel Las Margaritas Tarifa is a modern hostel with a central and quiet location next to the old quarters. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, AC, heating, TV, phone, a wardrobe, and a desk.
Program
During the kitesurfing course with Atlantic Kite, all the needed gear is included (kite, board, harness, life jacket, and helmet) as well as rescue boats and accident and liability insurance. At the end of your kitesurfing course, you will get an IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) certificate so you can prove your level in any part of the world.
In Atlantic Kite's kitesurf lessons, they adapt to each student depending on their kitesurfing level. Atlantic Kite teaches adults and kids. No restrictions, everybody can learn. The method and instructors will introduce you to kitesurfing so easily that in a few days you will be kiting. Atlantic Kite analyzes your level and skills and adapts to you offering a personalized course with different options. Course options
Group course
The kitesurf courses offered are reduced group courses for a maximum of four people with one instructor and a duration of four hours per day. In these lessons, a kite is shared by every two of you so you can get your strength back during the resting time and learn by watching your partner. It is the perfect option for a group of friends or family who want to learn and have a nice time on the beach.
Atlantic Kite has the option of three or four hours of lessons per day. In group courses, the four-hour option is better as you will make the most of your kitesurfing day.
Private course
If you want a fast and efficient progression, this is your best option. One on one lessons and with 100% full attention, your personal instructor will guide through every step of your learning process adapting to you.
Semi-private course
In a semi-private course, there is a maximum of two students per instructor. With this option of a reduced group, the instructor can focus more on all the movements of each student resulting in a more personalized attention and faster learning. Also with this option, there is the possibility of doing the course with one shared equipment (one kite for two students) or each student with their own equipment (two kites for two students). In both versions, you can also choose between the three-hour lessons or four-hour lessons.
In Atlantic Kite, it is recommended to choose the four hours' option if a kite is shared or three hours lesson if each student has their kite.

With more than 12 years’ experience, started kitesurfing in 2004 and made of his passion his profession in different parts of the world.

This kitesurf camp will take place in Tarifa, Spain. Located at the very south of Europe right in front of Africa, Tarifa is a city with a special charm surrounded by nature and incredible views. Thanks to the strategic location right next to city center, this place is the ideal starting point for your holidays. The food in Tarifa is really good, that has to be said. The gastronomy in Tarifa is very rich and varied with many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy it at an additional cost.
Especially known is the red tuna of Almadrab which can be found in many bars served in different ways. It has an incredible texture that sometimes makes you wonder if you are eating fish or an extra tender meat fillet.
Every year in June, you can enjoy the well known “ruta del atún” (tuna route) where bars and restaurants offer their best tapas made with tuna competing in a contest for the best tapa.

Arrival by bus
From anywhere in Spain, you can travel by bus to Tarifa. You will find more comfortable connections from major cities. The bus trip is not the fastest or the most comfortable, but it is the cheapest. The advantage of traveling by bus is mainly to be able to contemplate the wonderful landscapes.
Arrival by ferry / boat
Tarifa has direct boat connection with Tangier. From the port of Tarifa, daily ferries depart to Tangiers. The journey lasts only 35 minutes since the distance separating Morocco from Spain is only 14 kilometers. It is a pleasant crossing by the waters that unite the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Arrival by train
The nearest station is in Algeciras, located 20 kilometers away. And from there, you have several options to transfer you to Tarifa including by bus or taxi. The station is located just in front of the train station, just 30 meters away.
Buses leave daily with destination to Tarifa, the schedules are from 7.05 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are purchased on the same bus and cost 2 EUR. The journey is short, about 30 minutes, but with unbeatable views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Bay of Algeciras, Gibraltar, and Africa. Taxis are located in the same bus station, in front of Renfe. It is the fastest way to get to Tarifa in about 20 minutes but with a higher cost (26 EUR).
